What can you tell from a page filled with words? I write and you read, but who is to say that you read the words with the same emotion and feeling with which I write? There are certain things that everyone looks for in that special person, and most of us know the first time we meet somebody whether or not that person could be the one. But, this is just another medium to meet new friends, and maybe one of them will be my Prince Charming.
I am a 37-year-old who still prefers most of the simple things in life. I enjoy reading, shopping, cooking, good coffee, movies, camping, volleyball, being on the water, beaches, mountains, dining out, playing games, traveling, staying in B&B's, decorating for Christmas, Alabama football, my personal time with God, and watching my 2 kids have fun and participate in their activities. I am passionate about things I believe in. I try to look at the good in things and people. I love romance and receiving flowers and little surprises. I'm very affectionate and loyal. I like to sing in the car. I melt around babies and elderly people. I want to learn to play tennis and to travel to Europe someday. I am intelligent and reflective and can hold up my end of a good and even deep conversation, but I also enjoy a good laugh and even a good old-fashioned pillow fight. If you get to know me, you might get a little sass every now and then. I can be a bit flaky, corny, quirky, and emotional as well. I can be strong when needed and soft when I should be. I'm willing to give a relationship as much as I expect to receive from it. I want a man that will crave me. I'm a very good person with a little naughty side, but I try to keep that under control :). I'm not a fitness nut. I'm not slender and I don't have washboard abs, which it seems a lot of men on here are requiring. I'm told that I look younger than my age. I'm learning not to judge the future from my past and leave life open to possibilities. My motto is everything happens for a reason. I believe that if you had a bad past relationship but you learned from your mistakes and take responsibility for your decisions, actions, and wrong turns, then you gained experience and wisdom. Consequently, you haven't failed.
I am looking for someone that shares some of the same interests I have but not all of them. I am willing to try new things. I also would enjoy someone that has something to talk about, something that will actually make me think about what I am going to say in return. I want to discuss our likes, dislikes, goals, ambitions, hopes, dreams, kids, faith, jobs, beliefs, outlooks in life, etc. I want to share a real connection with my man and be attracted to him spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically. I would like someone special to share the open space in my arms and heart. I miss trading looks across the room, holding hands, kissing, walking arm in arm, and curling up on the couch together. I want to know your thoughts just by looking in your eyes. I want to share unconditional love. My ideal man will be a gentleman, humble but confident, compassionate, loving, caring, trusted, mature, responsible, playful. He will enjoy kids, family, friends, working hard. He will have goals, some education, moral fiber and integrity, a good work ethic, a sense of humor mixed with a little sarcasm. He will value personal growth and truth. Relationships can be messy at times and impossible to work through without communication. My best friend for life needs to be someone that I can laugh with and enjoy life together.
By the way, my divorce will be final in May or June.
