I am on this site to hopefully meet a special person with whom I can share what life has to offer. I don't feel that I need to share my life with somebody... my life is full all on its own. However, I'd like that icing on the cake... by sharing my path in life with a special someone. But it has to be somebody with an open mind about living in different places and who is a citizen of the world rather than a nationalist of one country. I want to spread my wings and fly and take in all the Glory this planet has to offer.
Currently my life is a lot about work... I am self employed and work a lot because I have to. I hope to change some of this. I love traveling and the self discovery it brings. Having traveled mainly on my own, I'd love to meet somebody that shares this passion. It would have been nice to share the helicopter ride over Iguassu Falls with someone special as well as the exploration along the Tambopata River in the Amazon.
After my marriage came to an end... I was ready to give up on this thing called Love... but I believe I am at a point where I would like to meet that special someone with whom the chemistry is a given and that undescribable something is present. I believe in taking things slow. I am not here for "a booty call". I'd like to be somebody's "Girl" at some point and travel down the path of life together. After all... I have worked through the failure of previous relationship and am now a work in progress. I hope this will never change, because I believe in personal growth as a life long journey. I strive to live my life with integrity and I know what I want and need to have a full life. Here is a quote my Ex wrote me as our divorce was final: "I want you to know, that I know, the reason things went bad for us was my fault. I lied, I cheated and it is my karma that will pay for this. Yours is the purest, sweetest soul I have ever known. I have no idea what the **** I have just done. " Let me make it clear... I have lived that lesson and if you live your life that way... don't contact me.
I love to try new restaurants... even though I don't eat meat. I'm a person who always looks out for others. I believe that what goes around comes around and try to live accordingly. However, I am far from perfect... but know it. I am willing to learn and a day is wasted if nothing new was gained. I am not a slave to fashion or any other followings. I love to have time for play... and wish I had more of it. After all, tomorrow may never come... so make sure to enjoy the moment and spend time with loved ones. I'm an oxymoron... outgoing, and yet private. Exciting, and yet boring. I don't pretend and love the smell of new cut grass over any fancy fragrance. I love the city, but love the smells of a small idyllic town. I love good TV, and probably watch more than I should... but a good storyline is key to any fulfilling conclusion. I love to sleep because my dreams are as vivid as any awake moment. I love to be awake and present to feel the tickle of a whisker, sound of a purr or a fake massage by a feline's kneading. >^..^<
Needless to say... I have my points of view and the Swede that I am expresses them bluntly. I look forward to read what you have to share... and maybe we could connect at some level. You have seen my photos... so if you want a reply, please return the favor.
The internet is a wonderful, but also sometimes weird thing. Many people put on their masks because they think they are anonymous... that is just not so. The only mask I am wearing is the one in one of my photos. :-) I enjoy 'meeting'/connecting with new people from all over this wonderous Globe we all call home. I believe that nothing furthers peace and understanding as much as when people get to know one another one on one away from the tribal politics and/or whatever dogma or rules we all live under. We all share the same air and universal energy and we are all responsible for what we are doing to this planet of ours. Together we can overcome obstacles, but apart and fighting over whose "Higher Source" is better or not or what country will beat up another is just a source of misery and pain.

So if you are a man who: 1) likes to explore new places, and who may even consider living somewhere else at some point in life; 2) is not into the club/party scene and who likes to just hang out and have fun, enjoy a glass of wine over a game of backgammon or take a stroll along the beach watching the waves rolling in; 3) is successful in life... but still humble and unpretensious with a compassionate heart; 4) believes that emotional intimacy is as important as physical intimacy; 5) loves animals and treat them with respect; 6) understands that quality time is more important than quantity time and that any living thing needs room to grow and time for individual interests as long as done openly and honestly (as a creative person I need alone time) ; 7) takes a stand in matters of importance rather than wimp out and is not afraid of a challenging, but still friendly, conversation. ;-)
