Born and raised in the USA, but spent most of my adult life in Europe. September 2008, accepted a job offer that brought me back to the USA. Still feeling a bit like a duck that landed on the wrong pond.
Family is very important: 3 daughters and 3 grandchildren. Pets are family, too: 1 dog & 1 cat. My little Cairn goes everywhere with me. The expression - love me, love my dog - truly applies.
A big believer in simple pleasures: stimulating conversations; leisurely cups of coffee; watching sunrises and sunsets; listening to the music of the birds in the trees; traveling anywhere; and dabbling in the arts: photography, drawing, painting, writing, needlework, interior design, etc.
