I'm a pretty well balanced lady; like my work, like to have fun, like creative pursuits, enjoy being outside. I've lived a number of places and traveled a lot, experienced a lot of things. I try not to be judgmental of others, and accept people for who they are. The exception being politics. I'm pretty left wing and don't get along with conservatives. True-blue Republicans, take note.
I've fended for myself for a long time and can get alone fine; but it's much nicer to have someone to share life with. Just looking for that guy that will make the rest of my life a little more special.
Typically a glass half-full kind of person; considered a risk taker and energetic by friends (when do you have time to sleep?, they say). People usually think I'm at least ten years younger than I am, which is nice. I like to stay active and swim almost every day; enjoy walking and hiking as well.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for a man who isn't self-absorbed and doesn't feel the need to impress me or others: he is comfortable in his own skin: a genuine person. I like being with people who enjoy a good conversation, are fairly well informed, open to new ideas, and like to experience life as fully as possible within the constraints of day to day life. I prefer people who don't need to be constantly entertained, but have a variety of interests to fill their lives. I'm looking for someone who believes a good relationship is possible and finding it is truly a miracle worth hanging on to.
