As I write this, I'm drinking a nice stout I brewed myself. Learning the fine art of home brewing is just one of the perks of being a member of a medieval recreation group. I love to camp out with people who have the same interests. Falling asleep outside to the rumble of drums is the best way ever to get a good night's rest.
For the above mentioned reasons and more, the SCA has become my passion. I love the sense of family and community as we learn and share with each other. While upholding the ideals of chivalry, honor and service, we camp and party and have a great time.
I would really love to meet people who have the same interests. My ideal would be people who love to learn and teach, who have honor and a sense of purpose, who are willing to always improve themselves and are willing to help me do the same.
I'm not perfect myself, neither in body or soul. However, I am willing to always work toward being better than I am. I want to learn and grow, so I want to be friends with people who can learn and grow as well.
