Most of my friends would say that I am easy-going , shy when I first meet someone, but once Igetto know you I come out of my shell. I can be opinionated But I am not the kind of person if shown that my opinion is wrong can't admit when I have made a mistake. I dislike the bar scene, I have lived that lifstyle and find it to be unfulfilling and have no desire to re-visit the past. I am a reformed smoker. God delivered me from a 25 year habit. I am kind and caring and I think people should be treated the way that you yourself like to be treated and I strive to live up to that belief.
I like quiet surroundings when getting to know someone new that way there are no distractions to take away from getting to know each other.
Some of my favorite activities are going to Church ( I am involved in my Church) I love to read, and I have been woking out for the last few months and I have found I enjoy it very much, it is relaxing and I feel a lot better. I hope the end results see several pounds flushed away. I like working in the yard with my plants , playing in the dirt I call it! I enjoy time with my , family and my friends.
Where I live is important right now because my grandmother is ill and I don't wan to leave while she needs me, otherwise I would be up for the adventure of moving to a new place starting over meeting new people. I have lived here my entire life except for a month or two here or there.who knows a change might be nice.I would be willing to try it any way for the right person.
I listen to country music or christain music I can''t stand or hard rock. I like 70's and 80's rock ok.
I am currently employeed at a group home for mentally challenged adults. I am the house manager and caregiver. I enjoy my job very much and I love my special . They have a way of working themselves into your heart where you end up loving them like family. I think you are supposed to keep some objectivity but I am a softy and probably am more emotionally involved than I should be.
Money is important to me as far as having enough to pay the bills and take care of my (2). I am not a materialistic person. I do not wear jewelry, the latest fashion name brand clothing, I do not have to drive a 60,000 dollar car or live in a mansion as some status symbol to show off how wonderfulI am or what a good provider I am. I have never seen a uhaul truck in a cemetary backed up to a grave dumping all that persons "Toys" into it with them after they are gone. And contrary to popular belief he who has the most toys when he dies doesnot "win", he's still dead. I only aspire to have a home that is comfortable and a dependable car which I feel that I have by God's grace. of course everyone can always use a few more dollars than they make,but I don't believe money makes you happy, I believe Faith, Love, Joy and kindness make you happy.
