I have been married twice. The first time was to my two grown children's father, divorced him in 1997. Moved to Amarillo and went to work for a bank. I got remarried in May 1999 to an older gentleman that I met at the bank. unfortunately he died 8 months later of cancer. I have been single ever since then, March 2000.
I am an office manager & bookkeeper for my brother's roofing company while studying for my paralegal degree. I love to go country & western dancing, sing karoake, write poetry, read, watch movies (except Kung Fu), listen to all types of music, especially golden oldies & Elvis (but no rap, gothic or heavy metal), I enjoy going fishing (yes, I can bait my own hook), camping, boating, long walks, zoos, play volleyball, cook and redecorate, gamble a little and spoil my 3 grandchildren. I am well educated and have the biggest heart in Texas (rumor has it) I have an outstanding sense of humor and a sparkling personality (so I have been told). I like having a good time and making others laugh. Life is too short to procrastinate. Go for the unknown and always remember you are as young as you feel and act.
Never be ashamed to show the world just what you are made of. You are the only one that can illustrate your true being, hopes and fears. If you don't love and respect yourself....who else will ???
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for my other half.....the part that is missing. I am searching for that special person that is going to be my best friend, my hero, my reason for smiling all the time and my "soul mate". He will have a very caring heart, honesty, loyalty, respect, most extraordinary personality and love for no one but me. He will be patient, intelligent, understanding, a good listener, show his feeings openly and have a strong shoulder to lean on when needed. My prince will not possess jealousy, a bad temper, a corrupt mind or doubt about my love.
My better half will have a great sense of humor, apathy, genuine concern, pride, a positive attitude, hope and romantic passion. He will be the first thing I see in the morning and the last thing I see every night. He will be very secure with himself as well as with me with no reason for suspision.
Most of all he will be the answer to my lifelong dream. Someone to love me the rest of my life unconditionally and vice versa. I want someone to walk hand in hand with me.....not in front of or behind me....in life's long road for eternity.

I can wear jeans, t-shirt and tennis shoes but I can also
dress to the nines in black tie. I never wear jogging pants
or sweatsuits though...tackiest clothing I have ever
seen on a woman. Not flattering at all.
