I am a single white female after a 17 year marriage and 3 children. I am a home maker and my youngest son who is now 12 lives with me. I love to travel and camp out with family and friends,but since my divorce in 2001;raising my son takes priority in my life so I don't get to get out that much these days. In 1982 I took the national medical assisstant exam and became an RMA,but since I am a stay at home mom;I am just a certified medical assisstant now. I have 49 hours of core classes at Wichita State University and some day would like to get either my bachelors degree or an associates degree for my own personal satisfaction,although, I don't know if I will ever use it at this late date? I love reading,as well as writing and I am really qyite good at writing poetry and short stories;some day I would like to write a book about my life and call it "Karats of Kathy",but we will have to see what happens with that,cause my life has had some very emotional happenings in it and in order to be objective about them I need some distance and that comes with time!
