The basic rundown goes like this: I'm a college sophomore, majoring in political science. I love to read, knit (I know, strange hobby for my age), and cook. I make a mean red sauce and a great apple pie. I talk fast, walk slow, and trip over everything.
When it comes to romance, I'm a very practical and pragmatic romantic. I would just feel uncomfortable listening to a song or a poem written/recited for me; I find big "romantic" gestures somewhat scary and ha-ha funny. Which is not to say I'm not romantic; I just find the little things and small surprises more romantic.
My Ideal Person
I tend to go for tall guys with big, warm smiles and friendly eyes. Beyond the physical, an intellectual and educated mind, a quick wit, and an good command of the English language (really bad spelling and grammar = BIG turn-off, sorry, I'm a nerd!) are all really important for me. The chemistry and compatibility should be there.
To be honest, I'm really not interested in anyone over 25ish or with children (sorry!). Men that age and/or with children are simply at a different place in life than I am. I'm also not interested in men outside the continental US. I'm a college student with very limited transportation who wants to date around for a while before settling into anything super serious.
