I absolutely hate these introduction essays. They make you sum up your entire existence in a few paragraphs. It is completely impossible. However, I do feel that you should know at least a little about me if we are going to attempt some sort of friendship, so I will do what I can to be as complete, yet succinct, as I can. I am a plus-sized (size 22, so you don't have to wonder), dark-haired, semi-Goth, semi-metal, semi-nerd, female who seeks those who are equally as eclectic.
That being said...
I am an intellectual, though I can be silly, I am brooding and sullen at times, though at times I'm happy and bright. It all depends on what side of the bed I roll from in the morning. I'm not totally maniacal and split-personality, I'm just different, though not difficult to get along with. I'm am generous and kind, hard-working and loyal. I love to laugh and have a great sense of humor.
I am into Heavy Metal music, reading (Fantasy, Mystery, Shakespeare, Medieval, etc), and movies. I love beer and on occasion drink lots of it. But not frequently. I like Guinness, or any full-bodied, flavorful stout.
I have a passion for music. Although I cannot play an instrument, I do sing a little. But my passion is more than that. I find solace and hope in the music I listen to. It's my place to go when I have nowhere else to turn. I love Metal of all kinds, but particularly Power/Progressive Metal. Bands like Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Edguy, Symphony X, etc. I also like many of the newer modern rock and new metal bands that have emerged in the past 5 years or so. Bands like Distubed, Breaking Benjamin, etc. And I can't forget my guilty pleasure, Post Punk/Emo stuff, like My Chemical Romance. I like to listen to and talk about music. I enjoy getting deep into the heart of the music I listen to and unraveling the mystery found there.
I love pets, especially cats. I have a gray tiger striped cat named Shakespeare. I like dogs, though I'm too busy to own or take care of one  .
I like to have fun, though my idea of fun is sometimes not the same as others. A good time for me is hanging out at a quiet local bar, having some beers and chatting, or hanging at home, watching a movie or playing a board game and talking. I do NO DRUGS: not cigarettes, not marijuana, not narcotics. I am proud of that. I'd appreciate it if you were, too.
I like good conversation. I am obsessed with Lord of the Rings. I'm usually quite opinionated when it comes to discussing books, movies and music. I'm very passionate about them and like to show it.
Other than that, I don't know what else to say. If there's anything you'd really like to know, please drop a line. I'll answer any question as honestly as possible.
My Ideal Person:
I hate this part even more. I am looking for anyone. Seriously... I don't care if you're geeky, nerdy, freakish, elvish, DNDish, Metal, Goth, Punk, etc etc. All I require is intellect of some sort. I need to have an intellectual conversation and some good honest laughs.
A love of music, especially Hard Rock/Metal/Emo is almost a requirement. It is such a huge part of my life that I simply cannot envision myself getting along with someone who isn't at least interested in it.
If you're interested in me, please make sure you don't have a problem with my size. I'm a size 22. A plus-sized woman. I am slowly and steadily losing weight, but I will never be skinny. Nor do I want to be. I feel I am attractive and even sexy just the way I am. I am trying to get healthier. That's my main concern. If my weight may be an issue for you, please don't aggravate me. Keep to yourself and find someone who fits your size requirements.
I cannot promise any kind of relationship other than friends. I fully envision myself spending the rest of my life with a someone, but I am by no means ready for that right now. I'm looking for friends. Friends who may turn into friends-with-benefits. Other than that, I make no promises. If you think you could put up with me for any length of time, and you enjoy good conversation, music, laughing, and beer - look no further.

For the most part I'm usually in jeans, a black, Metal t-shirt from a band like Dream Theater or Iced Earth, and my doc martens. My hair is short so it's usually just as-is. My face is ALWAYS made-up. I love makeup. I wear bright, loud colors of eyeshadow, lots of black eyeliner, and red or dark lipstick. Am I goth? Sometimes. Most importantly, though, I'm just me. I glam up sometimes to go out. But I'd rather be comfortable. That's not to say I don't know how to knock 'em dead when I need to. ;)
