Hello. I would hope that anyone replying to my ad would be adventurous enough to not be concerned that much about distance but would find it an exciting challenge. I am 64 yrs old but feel a lot younger, am slender, long blonde hair, and blue eyes. I like to walk and hike to keep fit but am not fanatic about it. I just want to take care of my health. I like dining, theater, travel, shopping. I like the outdoors and enjoy activities as; discovering the back roads of America, fantastic little restaurants in small hidden towns, fishing, hiking, ocean breezes and mountain air, walking in the woods, family get togethers, ice cream cones, x-country skiing, the coast of Maine and Florida, antiquing, driving in snow storms, flea-markets, festivals and Christmas in Chicago. Am adventurous & like to travel and explore new places. I love God first, children, family, babies, the elderly and I have lots of empathy for others. I am young-at-heart and love to laugh and have fun but serious sometimes but typically am a child in my heart. I have never did drugs. I can be meek yet strong, sensible yet childish, funny yet serious, spontaneous yet steadfast, solid yet sensitive, exciting yet quiet, tranparent, yet as mysterious, complex and changing as the wind because I am a woman and I love being one. Life has more meaning when you have your Best Friend beside you, and until I find him I won't settle for
less. Do you like lying in front of the fireplace, sipping hot chocolate or hot apple cider, as a blizzard rages outside and soft music plays? I love the spring with the smell of newly-mown grass wafting through the air and the aroma of new flowers filling my senses as I dream of past Easters. Do you like the sound of the rain as it gently touches the window and you watch as the drops make their way down the window pane? The excitment of a thunder storm as you lie on the floor and watch the sky on a dark stormy night?The dew on the roses on a summer's morn. But most of all I love the autumn as the soft wind blows through my hair and the leaves drift to the ground. Makes me reminisce of younger days and earlier dreams. Bye for now and God Bless.
My Ideal Person:
He would be honest, have class yet down to earth, have character, loves the Lord, understanding, empathy and lots of love, spontaneous, young-at-heart, loves life and all that it has to offer and wants to enjoy all these things for the season we are here. He would at least have some concept of what a woman is, or at least can fake it. lol. He would have time for and likes to travel. I like a gentleman who opens my door and knows how to treat a lady. He would be financially secure, but not 'filthy rich'. I don't care for the Greek God, drop-dead-gorgeous kind of guy, they are a dime a dozen. I love life and want to live it fully, hopefully with a great guy who has eyes only for me. He would always put me first and as his partner, I don't do well on a shelf. I would like someone who will enjoy being with me no matter where we go and will love it because it really doesn't matter where/what we are doing as long as we are together..I know you are out there but you sure are elusive!!
