I am an accomplished professional and a proud mother of a 24 year old son who recently fled the nest.
My son was a focus of my life, and I miss him a lot. I got something instead though, and that something is freedom. Freedom is not just a state of one's life, it's a state of one's mind as well. Various ideas are visiting me now, and I am implementing some of them -- the ones that do not seem too crazy.
My crazy ideas are actually not too crazy. One of them is buying a house next to the water - I would prefer a lake. I have two kayaks. I am considering having a few more boats of different types.
Another (slightly crazier) idea would be moving to one of the northern states, such as New Hampshire, or Maine, or Vermont. I would consider Canada as well.
One more (crazy) idea would be moving to Europe. I am thinking of UK or Ireland. Just thinking, not doing anything. Why these two? I don't know. I am neither British nor Irish. It might be an influence of the fairy tales I read as a child.
And the last (absolutely crazy) idea is going to Russia for a visit.
So... If you are an accomplished professional (preferably an engineer), and you also have some excess of energy and some 'crazy' ideas, why don't we combine our efforts and implement at least some of them, including yours?

Please be a professional, preferably an engineer (I am), non-smoker, well-traveled and well-read, do like art and outdoors, be fit, have a good sense of humour. Intellect is a must!
