I have been widowed for a little over a year and have three grown children living away from home. I also have three grandchildren. I enjoy movies, dinner out, books, all of the usual things people list. I am an art teacher and paint in my spare time, and aspire to be a full time working artist one day. I live alone, and that's fine a lot of the time, but it does get lonely, and I would like someone to share lonely moments with. I like the outdoors, gardening, walks on the beach, in the woods, etc. Plundering through junk stores, exploring shops, going to auctions is exciting to me. I love to travel and go places, and feel the inner me is an adventurer. I get along well with people, and do not like confrontations. I am one that will walk across the street to avoid a scene. My children say I am not assertive enough, and I am working on that.
