I'd like to meet a new friend to share interests, conversation.
I like reading, gardening, walking, movies, theatre, art, etc.
I like all sorts of games such as scrabble, rook, poker, blackjack... someday I'd like to learn to play bridge.
I love golf, but haven't been out for a couple of years... particularly since I moved to NC leaving my golf buddies in VA ...a poor excuse, I know  . In my first mixed tournament I won a putter for closest to the pin... the best moment of my golf game thus far, also known as beginner's luck.
I snow ski, have neat skiis, and am happy with my low level of downhill skills. Haven't been on the slopes in a few years since moving to NC... there are not any season passes here in this area.
I have bowling ball/shoes. Way back when I used to bowl in a league, on the best team in the league. I wasn't very good, but it was still lots of laughs. Finally I boosted my average to around 130 ...while the others on the team carried 200+ averages... amazed that they allowed my on their team!
I have a bicycle, but it's in need of air in the tires so it's been a year or two since I've been on the bike ...probably another poor excuse... okay, I don't like the uphills, downhill or flat land is best for my biking.
I'm an advanced level scuba diver, and have been diving for about 12 years. At one point like everyone else, I did underwater photography, but stopped after awhile ...when I realized I had enough pics and I was missing out on most of the fun and enjoyment of the dive.
I grew up near Roanoke VA. Moved to NJ for ~10yrs, then PA ~2yrs, to VA Shenandoah Valley ~9yrs, and have been here in NC ~4yrs. What's next... I have no idea!
My Ideal Person:
A truthful, fun, easy going person that likes to share thoughts, experiences, moments. A patient, kind, warm and respectful person. Likes the seashore, ocean, mountains. My ideal person has diverse interests.
