I am new to the dating thing. I am just coming out of an 11 year relationship, during which I was always faithful.
So, I really am trying to take things a little slower than some might on here.
I love the outdoors. I like motorcycles. (I have a Kawasaki ZZR600.) I love good music and dancing. I like to play golf. I fly radio controlled airplanes (or did, until mine crashed). Now I BUILD radio controlled planes...LOL (built my first plane too). I miss flying!!!. I love to go fast (roller coasters, cars, boats, jet skis). I love classic cars, especially Mustangs...have a couple of them! One of my favorite things about classic cars, is being able to work on them without having to be a rocket scientist (yes, I enjoy working on my cars too)! I enjoy the theatre, ballet, and other cultural entertainment. I am always willing to try something new! You never know if you like it until you try it!
I prefer warm weather and really dislike snow. My favorite place to live so far has been South Florida. Someday I hope to move back out of this area and to warm weather year round!
I am a romantic at heart. I love being with someone that wants to please me as much as I want to please them. I am just as at home going to a baseball game in jeans and a t-shirt as I am going to a black tie affair in a beautiful gown.
I am highly educated. I have 3 degrees and am working on my 4th. I am heavily involved in leadership roles as well as community service.
I am a business professional who is smart, funny, has a wonderful personality and sense of humor. I enjoy having fun, but know that life has a serious side as well (we should all know the difference and which one is appropriate at the time).
I have been rich and I have been poor, neither really impressed me. Personally, having money is nice, but in the end, happiness is so much more important, and while money can buy things that make you smile, it is only temporary, and those are just things. People are what really matters in the end! Living comfortable is nice...and when you can live comfortable and be happy, it is even better!!!
Lastly, if you have gotten this far...I will say this. If you like everything else that you have read about me thus far, I would hope that this would not even need to be said, but unfortunately, for the few out there that are stuck on looks, I will say it.
If you are seeking some skinny little twiggy girl, with a smooth flat teenage girly tummy, you might as well move on now!!! While I am not a large person I do have a few pounds to lose and actually am doing a pretty good job of it! I still have a few more to go before I will be happy with myself. This is something that I am doing for me, not anyone else!!! I mean, reality is that I have had children and my body reflects that.
Just wanted to say it...tired of guys who are seeking trophies whose only characteristic is their looks! I am a trophy...as I said before, I am beautiful, smart, funny, intelligent, well mannered, cultured, have a great sense of humor, witty, honest, have a great personality, and on and on and on.
I have standards too...we all do and we should not settle for less than our standards dictate. I just hate it when people allow those standards to make them shallow!
My Ideal Person:
I am seeking someone who is my equal. I am an educated person, with a wide variety of interests, especially those of a cultural nature...ballet, theatre, art galleries, museums, etc.
