Following years of being fiercely independent and driven, I’m finally looking for a man who shares similar interests and values; someone who wants to introduce me to some of his escapades so that we can do the things we love together.
I LOVE meeting interesting and eccentric people, lively conversation with friends, organic gardening, intelligent food, and trying new things. I LOVE diving and exploring the arts and cultures of different countries. It's important for me to surround myself with people who are open to different cultures, open to change, and able to think outside the box. I LOVE....spontaneity, skinny dipping in Lake Superior under a full autumn moon, rolling in fresh snow to cool off during a sauna, not running out of air on a deep dive, following a torch-lit trail through the jungle, running with scissors....I LOVE the taste and aroma of dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, curry...the fragrance of of Stock, Freesia, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine....the joy of Wildflowers and Herbs....the sound of Folk music, Jazz, Reggae...the feel of Cotton, Flax, Hemp, Wool, Bamboo....
A sampling of my ever-growing interests and activities includes: alternative energy and sustainable living, yoga and meditation, foreign films, swimming, backpacking, beach combing, cooking, and fiberarts.
Sometimes when I can get away, you may find me kayaking on Lake Superior or the back waters of the Mississippi, X-C skiing off the Gunflint Trail, chasing down textile arts and musical instruments in some exotic destination, or taking in the beauty along a mountain trail.
Closer to home, you may find me shopping at the local farmer’s market, attending a small and intimate folk concert, visiting with friends over chai, curling up with a good book, or walking my dog (who is actually a human in a dog-suit!).

My ideal match is someone who is flexible, loyal, kind-hearted and concerned for others, genuine and honest, and values equality, communication, and respect in a relationship.
