	ESSENCE99 said A little under a year and a half ago I joined your site after being asked to do so by a friend. My expectation of actually meeting someone this way was very low but it seemed harmless enough so I joined. I imediately started to receive several responses and, me being the unbeliever in internet love, I didn't respond to them. Until one day I received a special email from someone named Bigman72 and I was instantly intrigued. I decided to write him back figuring that he lived so far away that it wouldn't be any harm to chat with him online. We exchanged several emails through your site than eventually felt comfortable enough to reveal our personal email accounts. Neither of us was looking for anything more than friendship but what was have found is a love so strong that we were compelled to meet in person. We are both Christians and we have alot in common. Needless to say that Thirteen short months later we are engaged and plan to be married July 14 2001. We have our own webpage on www.weddingchannel.com. I am very grateful to this site for introducing me to my soulmate.
	Sheila said Greetings FF I thought it only fair to share with you my success story or should I say our seeing as you are the guys responsible for us ever meeting. I met my man quite by accident as he was sort of involved with someone at the time which so was I but nothing greatly serious. We began chatting in March through a mutual friend and found that we had alot in common. Our feelings for one another grew and before long we were chatting everyday and talking on the phone every weekend. After a few months I decided to meet this gorgeous man and so I flew to the States and we met in Anaheim. We had 10 wonderful days together in which time I learnt that I was wholly and solely in love with this guy. He is my soul mate. I never thought it possible to fall so deeply in love with someone you meet online but was I ever so wrong. What can I say but thank you Friendfinder from the bottom of my heart for giving me true love. Sheila

Although there is some distance between us (64 miles), the joy we share when we're together makes it all worth while and the distance doesn't matter. Although 64 miles doesn't seem like a lot, in today's rush rush world and both being single parents, it sometimes seems like a lot more. It turned out I had everything to gain! No only did I meet a woman who is interesting, she is fantastic and very much my equal. So not only did I gain great lover (who looks so hot that if I'm away from her awhile -when I see her again - I'm shocked that she is MY girlfriend!) but I also gained a valuable friend and business partner. 	always_alive said I joined Friend Finder on June 4 2000. After loading my profile I decided to go into one of the chat rooms. This was to be my first venture into a chat room in my entire life. I actully felt very silly as I joined the chatroom with three other members. Being a novice and not knowing what to do I asked the person with the friendliest nickname what to do. His nick name was smiler67. Anyway we chatted in a private chat that evening for four hours. The next day he had sent me an e-mail. By the following week we were calling telephonically. Exactly two months later, August 4 2000 I collected him from the airport. I was so nervous and excited at the same time. He came all the way from the UK to visit me here in South Africa. Well we had a magical two weeks and only physically confirmed that which we have known since about the second time we spoke. We are "soulmates". We got engaged on August 6 2000. I know what you must be thinking. Those same thoughts plagued both of us. I flew over to the UK in September for a week to meet his family. Well to cut a long story short, Paul and I are getting married on October 27 2000. He's quit his job, packed up his life and starting over here with me. I never intended to meet anyone, especially not anyone so far away. But hey, God works in mysterious ways. Thanks Friend Finder for facilitating the process of life. You make the gap and the Universe fills it. In my case Friend Finder assisted in the process. Thanks Guys!!
