CONSUMERS
Consumerism is insidious,
So give it a name,
To outsiders it seems hideous,
And yes it is a game.
We are programmed to need this and that,
Furniture, a car and house,
Sound systems, shoes and hat,
Shopping with friends and spouse.
Holidays to go abroad and relax,
Full and part time jobs we hate,

TRAIN
I'm on the train travelling fast,
But am I here at all?
This feels like a good day,
But good things are rare and sparse.
My only other answer is I'm asleep in bed,
With something of a swollen head,
But whether or not I'm in my bed,
I could well be on drugs or dead!
