Huh? What? Wire me?
Yup, wire me. Analogy time:
Sometimes I feel like my life is a series of wires. Multicolored, varying lengths, different powers, all having a partner they are to be connected with to complete another circuit in me.
Sometimes, you start with one wire, searching for it's intended mate...nope, this one doesn't work. Nope, this one is too short. Hey, these colors seem to match, let's try this. Owwweee, this one most definitely does not work lol. Yippee, this one works...ahhhhh, it feels great! I love the feeling of getting nailed....errrr, I mean wired
Often times, I feel like I am in the center of a birds-nest of wires, a cornucopia, some sparking, some just laying still waiting patiently, and others thrashing about desperately seeking it's place. I have many in my hand and am confused, tangled, twisted and coiled up inside the mess.
The wires which have been handled the most are worn yet still quite active and buzzing with the power in them...I know them by touch alone, not by sight. They are so familiar to me, they are me and they are in my hands once again, right now, as they often are.
How and when am I ever going to connect them...to Me? Will I ever make this connection? I so wish to find a way to take two of my greatest passions: writing and my ability to touch, inspire and often motivate people...and then make a living at it. Having the best of both worlds. Doing what you love and being successful at it. My Grammie and former mother-in-law always said: Do what you love and the money will come. I am trying girls, I am trying...
Time is running out. I am hopeful, I am scared chitless and I feel desperate.

So, I've had this idea rolling around in my head for a month or so now. And oddly enough, it falls in line with this month's Magazine theme on: Friendship!
I may fall flat on my face with this one but I am not going to allow my fear of such stop me. I am here to write my thoughts out and to take a poll which will be in the Poll section. Dang I hope I remember how to do this lol! I want to see if you, the incredible and compassionate bloggers on this site would have any interest in it. Would you participate and/or would you be willing to offer suggestions to make it happen?
I thought it would be great to have a "Love Letters" theme. Something along the lines of " A Love Letter To My Friend..." Where you write a letter to your friends here, individual letters, expressing your feelings for them. What makes them so special in your life. How they make you feel and why. Maybe how they inspire you. What their friendship means to you. Special memories, funny ones too...(Fancy lovingly thanked me for being the piss in her pants lol) anything at all you wish to say to them. Just so long as it is written from the heart and guaranteed to make them smile and feel good about themselves.
This letter also applies to your wife, husband, partner, boy/girlfriend...For, before there was love, there existed a friendship...one which has grown and has you where you are today.
The objective behind this is because I feel there is no time like the present. Why wait until it may be too late to say these things to a person in your life. What if, one day, they or you were suddenly gone and with them, the opportunity to say what is in your heart? Then what? If you can brighten someone's day and make a positive difference in their life, why wait?
The second part of this is: How do we track it? I want one specific blog/poll/place where we all can go to and put a link to our letter(s). A one stop shop where everyone can go to see what has been written and by whom. Oh, and this is not a numbers game either okay. This is about friendship and letting people know how we feel.

One last thing before I go. This will probably be the only time I post a "Read Only" blog. I want your vote and feedback on the poll. I want to see what your interest level may be and whether or not you would be willing to participate in a Friendship blog...One that is for ALL BLOGGERS! After all, we are what makes the Blogs and Magazine what they are!
Would you be willing to post a Friendship Love Letter to your friend(s) here, sharing your feelings for them and why? Expressing the special feelings they create and inspire in you and in turn, make their day. To share and inspire us, a warm and fuzzy for the day? How far are you willing to go for the sake of Friendship? This far?
This may be too personal for some yet I am confident others will have no problem writing from their heart.
I have not come up with a title for this as of yet. Nor how to facilitate it. Please, offer any and all suggestions you may have including possible poll questions to add.

Friendship: A Letter of Love to _____
Friendship: How Do I Love Thee? Let me count the ways. Okay, corny but funny. Help!!!
