Wow, what a wonderful day.
My eldest daughter graduated from college yesterday. This child who barely graduated from high school, graduated with "High Highest Honors" (sounds funny)
There were 8 students out of 465 who graduated at the top of their class and were invited to sit on the dais with the University Professors, all of them had a 4.0. A very proud moment.
She looked beautiful and words can not explain how proud I am of her.
At the end of the night she cut her cake and gave a little speech. In her speech she thanked me for making her work and pay her own way during the time between high school and college. She said she learned real quick she didn't like being poor and it gave her incentive to work hard in college
I love this kid and I am soooo proud of her. What a great Mother's Day present
(I'll post about the party later in another blog)

After my daughter's graduation we had a party to celebrate her achievement.
It was an interesting group of people gathered together.
My ex-husband, his wife, his dad, his brother and my ex-sister-in-law.
My son-in-law's family - - his mom, and step mom, his step dad, his 1/2 sister, step-sister and brother and their children.
Bruce, my girlfriend Suzy, my youngest and her boyfriend.
And of course, my eldest who we were celebrating and her husband.
Poor Bruce got to meet them all. I had to mingle so I felt bad, but he seem to be entertained talking to my friend Suzi.
Despite all the ex's, and the remarriages, everyone acted like adults and got along fine.
The only sad note was that my late husband didn't get to be there for her graduation. He was a teacher also, and he would have been so proud of her. I'm sure he is looking down from above and knows how well she did.
However, despite the sadness I know that without experiencing this loss, I would never have met Bruce. I love him more than words can do justice.
Happy Tuesday. May your life be as good as mine is right now.

Had a discussion with one of the girls at work who also has a on-line relationship.
Just curious what everyone's opinion is. Once your in a serious relationship with someone should you continue your memberships in other dating sites? I don't mean FF which is not JUST a dating site.
True...Adult FF?
Personally, I don't care if your a paying member or a non-paying member...if your in a serious relationship....you should not be keeping those up "just in case" doesn't that just set your relationship up to fail...or yet...doesn't it say that your not really satisfied that the one your dating is right for you and your keeping your options open for something better to come along?
Personally, since meeting Bruce...I have dropped my other memberships and have changed my FF profile to say committed and only looking for friends.
My friend thinks it's ok for her to remain on the sites, and I disagree completely, I think she is very wrong to continue...especially when her guy wants her to stop
Your thoughts???
