Recently I read a blog which got me fired up. I know that each and every one of us who lives on this planet needs shelter, food, water, clothing, heat, energy, and other resources to sustain and make our lives more comfortable. But for someone to say that because we set aside land and make limits on taking resources, we are ruining capitalism and we are crazy environmentalists bent on taking riches from the already filthy rich who often exploit them at our expense is just wrong. All I am saying is that we need balance. We have so much beauty on this planet with plants and animals we have not discovered yet which could lead us to medicines that could cure chronic diseases. Also, a healthy and beautiful environment is good for the soul.

It has been great getting to know so many wonderful people from all over the U.S. and the world. Quite a few of you are like family to me. You can't often say that about people you meet online, but in this case it's true. I've also met people from around the U.S. and the world where I work, plus the great friends I already have and my lovely girlfriend. Very blessed these days! Thank you all for the laughter and smiles and creativity you bring to the blogs every day. I'm looking forward to the next six months!

I bring this subject up just as a thought, not something I'm currently experiencing. We are all human and sometimes emotions get the best of us. Unless someone has done something so horrible that there is no outlet for forgiveness, that person deserves to be forgiven. Things may not be the same after something happens, but that person doesn't deserve shame to the point where they go from being considered a good person to suddenly something less than that. What are your thoughts on this?

I have my male friends of course, but I cannot live without my female friends. They have given me so much and have been there when I needed them most. When I'm feeling down they give me support and affection. They are not afraid to tell it like it is, even if the truth hurts. They try to help me understand the female mind even if I still don't, which includes advice on finding love, which seems to have finally worked. They are playful and funny, kind and compassionate. They make me laugh and I make them laugh. Whether I have known them for years or they are new, I love them all!
