Mood: contemplative, 250 Views | | Today on my way to the library I past a man parked near the entrance to Lowe's with a sign on his truck stating that he was a cabinet maker looking for work. Another sign of how bad things are down here. | |

Mood: cheerful, 199 Views | The movie is scheduled to come out on July 28th. It is supposed to be a musical movie with a lot of ABBA's songs in it.  It sounds interesting but I don't think that I will get a chance to see it myself.  | |

Mood: adventurous, 205 Views | | Since I will not be here after May 25th I have updated my profile to reflect this. The problem is that they needed me to select a city and a state for myself. Since I will be heading towards Yellowstone, Wyoming I have put that down. It will be there until the next time I get on a computer and can update my information with the exact place that I have found work. | |

| One step closer |

Mood: adventurous, 208 Views | | This morning I picked up the last things that I will need for my bike for my journey. When I checked my e-mail at the library I found out that my tent is now at Walmart arrived. I will be going to pick it up. There is still a 50/50 chance that I will be able to leave on Friday. We are having strong winds here and rain in the area. That is the only thing that will delay my leaving now. | |

| It may never open |

Mood: gloomy, 224 Views | The homeless shelter was complete in April but it may never open. After it was finished the county put up a sign for it as it has for a lot of the projects that they have done in the county that it was built from the penny sales tax revenue. The problem is that the county spent all of its money building things without allocating money to run them. 
Now there is this brand new building that sits empty especially when there is more of a need now than ever for the homeless down here. There use to be mostly men and a few women that are homeless in this area, but now we are seeing more families here. That is very sad. | |
