Not a controversial religious post, But a further post to to my Scammer post.
OMG. OMG. and in particular to page 2 and psychic dreams comments and
my response to her.
OK, a few people have asked me, back stage, if I am being truthful, AGAIN.!!!
Oh yeah ye of little faith.!!
I took early retirement 7 years ago, (from a background of communications)
But I decided to go back to work again for free.
Months ago a jerky type person, proclaimed on their blog... “I’ve got the IP address
of this person, they are fake”... I had to laugh, and continued to laugh for a long time.
Anyone can make a statement like that, and this person obviously didn’t have a clue
what they were talking about.
So here are some facts, nothing underhand or illegal, just facts and what you can
learn and find out on the internet. There are many different message providers on the
web. (if you want to find out about your particular set up, then you will have to do a
search of the web), as all providers have different ways of accessing this information.
Also you will have to search the web and set up an “IP” address analyzer or mail address
analyzer. In this you will have to provided certain information so that you can access the following.
I will deal here with my main message provider. MSN.
When you receive a letter/email from someone on your system....
Go to the in box, then, on the message of the person you want to check...
Right click on the mouse, you get multiple options.
At the bottom should be a button... “View Source” if you click on this, it will bring up
a page, of all sorts of Gobble-dy Gook.. And communications information, and the message
that was sent to you...
In here is a lot of information for you to access and check where the message
has come from. i.e. Email addresses, IP address, dates times etc.
Put this information into your analyzer, and it will show you the origin/country/town
of where the message came from.
Ok, it is not that easy... because you have to know first what you are looking for..
An IP address looks something like this.... ([69.146.97.17]) . But, within this mass
of information are a number of IP addresses, i.e. If I send a message from Spain to
USA. It will go to Madrid, then Canada, and then to the USA. So if you are not
conversant with the format/protocol, you will have to check each IP address. (there is a formate and priority for this but it is too complecated to explain) SORRY.
This will then tell you where the message originated from......
So you will then be able to establish if the person is genuine.
If you search the web there are a number of packages that will do this Identity
for you, with different criteria, i.e. IP addresses, email headers, etc.
I am sorry I cannot provide all the web sites here, as I think I am chancing my luck
here on FF by trying to pass this information onto you,
I hope they don’t deny this blog, as it is meant for your safety and protection.
If there is something you don’t quite understand, please respond and I will try and
help you.
