As the tears fall down my weary face
I look back at all my stupid mistakes

Thinking too end what it was I’m searching in vain
Nothing in the world can or will stay the same
Changes are happening in such a quick flash
I close my eyes too block out some of the past
Memories linger they just wont go away
It harder finding the right words to say

Time to move on forget what it seams
Sick of living life’s imposable dreams
Men and women have a totally different approach
They are looking to find ways to just provoke
If they sit and think for a short while

People start cheering as they start the adventure
The throbbing of the train getting ready for departure
Shouting from the back the conductor cries
All aboard use have a wonderful surprise
Get your tickets at the ready we will soon be on our way
The sun is out what a glorious day

Thrusting of the pistons as they grind the wheels round
With overwhelming pressure from the valves what a nice sound
It pulls out of the station slow at first
Building up steam as its ready to burst
Going faster and faster down the track
Leaving a trail of smoke from the engines stack

Children smiling with glee as they live their wildest dreams
Though the countryside over hills rivers and streams
Across bridges through tunnels oh what a sight
As they travel on the train that pulls with all its might
Their journey's nearly over it has to come to an end
The stories they will have to tell to their family and friends

I’ve only tried to show my love is true
I’ve tried to show that I do really care
But you just don’t want me to be there

Everything comes out in the wrong way

The silence will be bliss just looking around

This is the time for Christmas cheer
It happens but once a year
A time to give but not to receive
All the presents Santa leaves
Beneath the tree all will be there
Dressed up in a bow for all to share

It’s the time to forgive and forget
All the past things we regret
Out with the old in with the new
That’s the thing we always do
As your family gather around the tree
And handing the gifts out so happily

When the lights flicker and glow
Singing songs that we all know
To see the joy we all share
Knowing Santa has been there
We all wish that it would stay
This for only one special day.
