Thank You For The Looties Apr 13, 2008 7:40 pm

I'm sorry it took me so long to post this. I received the make-up loots in the picture second week of March from Dewy.

I especially love the loose powder and lip gloss. So light, i feel like i'm not wearing anything. The press powder is dual, can be worn wet or dry depending on the amount of coverage i like to achieve. It feels silky to the skin and doesn't blotch or cake. The blush gives a hint glow to my cheekbones. And there's a lipstick and lipliner too. I learned that these stuff are pretty expensive.

To all the generous people in the world, may your tribe increase.

But first and foremost, i would like to thank all the people who have supported me in my previous post Copycat. Thank you, guys. Your responses overwhelmed me. I know, like me, you also hate copycats.

It's okay to post something we don't own, for as long as we don't own it. A permission from the writer or giving credit to the author is not hard to do.

Now, back to our lunch party. All our invites, AND MORE, came. Yesterday was like a reunion in our house. Everyone have had a grand time. We prepared grilled fresh squids, sashimi, vegetable salad, grilled yellow-fin tuna, etc, etc. There were knick knacks for the kids and that ice cream with chocolate tidbits i have been telling you about.

Everything turned out more than i expected it. Except for the dishes piling up in the kitchen. LOL. But i hope we can do this again, sometime soon.

Meantime, HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY, AMIGOS!

You wouldn't believe it. But someone had just copied en toto my previous post I Look Forward To Tomorrow. The guy omitted the first two words of the title and made it like it was entirely his own.

He even commented on my post. As a gracious host, i visited his blog and imagine my surprise when his real first blog was MY POST! He posted it April 11, 2008 at 3:11pm and i posted mine at 10:44 am.

This couldn't be real, i told myself. I went to the main blog and there in the recently posted blogs, I saw his entry. I clicked it and WHAM! The screen told me, the member has deleted the post. Apparently, this guy was still online and maybe he realized he has gone too far with my post and deleted his entry which he COPIED from me.

However, i felt violated. So i sent him an email and advised him to never again copy someone's blog. Should he need to, at least he should have the decency to give credit to the author and not pass it as his own. Besides, the particular post i was referring to was too personal that it is awkward for him to copy it.

So anyway, he has a new entry now which i'm not sure if it's his original work. The one he copied from me has been deleted, or was it just hidden?

I Look Forward To Tomorrow Apr 10, 2008 7:44 pm

I'm excited about tomorrow. It will be Saturday which means I'm getting a reprieve from work (Hopefully, boss won't be calling me for some office stuff that requires immediate attention).

So anyway, i already have plans for tomorrow. T'was actually the brainchild of my mother and since she would do most of the cooking, I obliged. We invited close relatives for lunch at our house. No, they're not to eat our house but the foods that we're going to serve. LOL.

It will be a great time to catch up with everything, don't you think so?

And since, my hands will gonna be full, i won't be online tomorrow.

And supposed you like to come over, okay, you're invited, too. I will be making the dessert!

Cold Coffee Apr 9, 2008 10:54 pm

I skipped breakfast this morning (again!). Oh well, not entirely. I decided to have my usual cup of coffee in the office, and perhaps some bagel or crackers and pop my vitamins afterwards. That sounded so simple. I'm good to go.

I arrived in the reception area, cup of coffee in hand and went straight to my desk (Now, if you're clever, you may want to know where i got my coffee when i have just arrived in the office, but hey, i won't tell you )

I didn't realized clients were already waiting and cluttered our sofa. gad, talk about early birds and i wasn't late either! They were just too early. Even before our workhours officially starts.

Ordinary consumers, businessmen, retailers, group of them waiting in line. When they saw me coming in, they trotted behind my back like ants and placed their passbooks on my desk so i can process them. Whoah, hold it right there. I have a cup of coffee in hand, see? I haven't even started sipping it yet, and the bagel stayed in the brown bag. And it's still 7:57 in the morning, darn it! My clock starts at 8:00 o'clock.

This is what happens when your country is experiencing staple food crisis and every ordinary consumers wanted to avail of the cheap commodity while businessmen wanted to hoard everything that they can possibly have.

I put my cup at the farthest corner of my table. Eyed it warily, and began entertaining my guests with a smile and a little chit chat. In my mind was my hot coffee which many more moments later had turned cold.

And i hate cold coffee!
