hey all, i am peeking in for a sec. or two. hailing from california. i made it here, all in one piece. giving flu shots to the veterans at the livermore clinic. i pretty much do all my blogging over at the space place, but i got to missing some of my old friends, so i thought i might stop by.
i took note all my watched blogs have been de-watched, so i will have to hunt and pick through to find some of my friends. of course, some of my friends are still up there in the "top ten", lol.
i got to san francisco and had the pleasure of standing in the icy cold pacific ocean.  i hope this picture comes through, it is so beautiful. i love the ocean so much.
i found out i am horridly afraid of driving in the mountains. actually, my are going to have to make a trip here to take me home when the time comes. i drove out, but i will not be able to drive back. not safe to drive with your eyes closed.
i think mark should make the trip out here to take me down to some basin he keeps telling me i should visit. he must be afraid of the mountains, cause i have not seen him. hmmmmmm, maybe he is afraid of me???  lol.
i got to meet up with gambiteer, i am not sure if that is the spelling, i call him brucey, lol. it was fun to see him again, but there was no bday party this time.
well, i am anxious to see how my pic turns out, so i am gonna sign off for now.

I stumble through them
Looking for the right thing
To say
Picking one word, then another
A sentence beginning to form
This and the
Love and loss
I pull them from the tangled mess
In my head
They do not seem to fit the mood
So I toss them back
To only begin sorting through
My cluttered mind again

Sleep, it will not come to my tired body
I lay in bed watching the shadows
Play against the ceiling
I listen to the sounds
Of crickets in the night grass
As I turn in bed and adjust the pillow
I pray sleep will soon come to me

i travel nurse. have done so for a couple years now.
i have filled out lots of applications.
all applications include my current wages.
i was talking to an agency for a position in Louisiana. i would really like to go back there for a "visit", as the position is in the same area i was in before.
ok, now at least 4 people in the agency have seen my application.
i talked to one of the agents today. the position is for FIVE dollars LESS than what i am making now. ok, so there is the housing. even with the housing, it does not come up to what i am making.
when i have traveled before, i got a higher wage AND housing AND travel.
do i come across as stupid or what???

off to the doctors i go. ugh. i hate doctors appointments. he just blows stuff off that i feel important, and seems to focus on my blood sugars!! what about my blood pressure? today i am telling him my left knee is going out and see what he says. i know he is going to tell my "your blood sugar is too hight" um, i already know that. i am pre-diabetic, duh.
