May 30, 2008 9:33 am 60 Views | | I think that we can all agree that we need change on America's political scene these days. After watching B. H. Obama and his ties to radical clergy, I have decided that he is not the change we need. I have worked all of my life to condemn and eliminate racism and am shocked by the vitriol and divisiveness that continues to come from his camp. Obama's brand of liberalism would do this country irreparable harm that would take decades to repair, if at all. This is our country, and it is time for us to take it back from the selfish politicians who care only for their own agendas. I will personally support a candidate that puts America first, regardless of what party they represent. John McCain made the comment that we need to work together and that we come from different political parties, not different countries. This is a very good point. I haven't made my mind up yet who to support but McCain has been a gentleman and has been honorable in his speech and conduct. I think that the Democrats need to come up with better options than what they are presenting and work to unite Americans, not put them at odds with each other.

| Beautiful Afternoon |
May 11, 2008 4:07 pm 185 Views | Here it is, May 11 and its 81 degrees. You couldn't ask for a nicer day. I just got back from a little spin on the bike and repotted a palm that I've been meaning to get to for a while now. I'm trying to figure out what I want to do for dinner and keep coming up blank. Whatever it is though, I'll probably do it outside on the grill. Its nice to stop once in a while and remember that our number of days are finite and to enjoy them while we have them. Blessings to all and I hope you are enjoying the day as much as I am.
