Sucks That I Can't Sleep

So here I am...wide awake. I have to get up at 4:30 too. And tomorrow is my long day...I have work and then school until 10:00PM tomorrow night which puts me home at 11:00PM and asleep, hopefully, by midnight.
I went to bed about an hour and a half ago and have just been tossing and turning...my wheels spinning in my head. I pulled my blankets up around my ears to snuggle deeper into bed and all that accomplished was hearing my heartbeat in my ears, lol.
Yep, so here I am.....hoping to bore myself with my own words and maybe that will put me to sleep. The problem is I keep the countdown to 4:30 going in my head and that is not helping. Oh, well.....maybe I will venture out to the neighboring blogs.

I was driving the other day and listening to the radio. The DJ was talking about Flat Stanley....something I have never heard of. He asked people to call in about their travels with Flat Stanley. People called that had taken him on a cruise and to Europe. I was curious what it was...by the time the DJ went back to music, I had a vague idea that it was a doll. I was thinking it was kind of a bendable doll...like Gumby. I thought it sounded kind of fun. I searched it on the internet and found that he is paper and there was a template. I traced it and made my own Flat Stanley. His first adventure is with my cat, Tuni, who was not amused and sniffed him like he stunk. Anyway...may the adventures begin...............

I was at work this morning working in the office and chatting with the New Guy (whom has since developed a personality since I last blogged about him) and we were talking about the kids on the buses. One of the driver's has been having difficulty with her high school kids. I have driven that route and never had problems. I suggested that maybe it's because some people (like myself) have a higher tolerance level and that if you respect them, they will ultimately respect you. New Guy says "respect has to be earned." True...but don't you give respect in small portions until someone no longer deserves it too? Now..think about it. Isn't holding the door open for someone behind you a small form of respect...otherwise it would be considered rude. I am hem hawing...I see both sides.
Anyway...went to the dentist after the morning routes were all done. I love my dentist. I get some shades to put on, they give me earphones and I pick what I want to listen to via Pan dora. Today it was Rob Thomas. Then they put this bite thing on the side of my mouth so I don't even have to work at keeping my mouth open. Next they put this raincoat over my mouth and strap it all in with hardware. I close my eyes and pretend that I am in some faraway place while relaxing. Lol...what a crock! I hate the dentist...I don't know how they don't keep from laughing at people with all that gear on. Sheesh.......

In my experience here at FF, there are two things you can count on.......
1. Trolls - what's funny about them is that everyone realizes that they are trolls because it is so obvious, but they never realize that they are trolls...lol
2. Stalkers - yep, the ones that swear they can look into your eyes and see that you are for them...they just know it. They lay their whole life out for you because they know that you are destined to be together.
The chatrooms are where you can find the trolls....you will know when you have met one....lol
The stalkers make use of the email...its never just one email and eventually you may see them show up in the chat room or on your blog.
The blogs? This to me is my safe haven. If you likened the chatrooms to a bar, and the stalkers as like a letter being left at your doorstep or your car window, then the blogs are like home. This is where I go to get away from all that other noise. It's like a neighborhood and you intermingle with your neighbors....you don't know everybody, but you have those you enjoy running into......
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.......

Taking a break from homework. Computer homework. I have to make a flyer using all these details...it's not as easy as I would have thought.
Been driving the short bus this week (yeah, yeah), but these kids are so cute. They are pre-schoolers...so cute. As near as I can tell they ride the short bus because the have speech problems. This little girl Doris is so cute...she's the tattle tell of the bunch. She let's me know when Ferrin has undone his seat belts. Then they sing "Happy Birthday to shoes", lol..you probably had to have been there. Tomorrow is my last day with them before I am off on a different route. Such is life...
Anyway, I need to figure this homework out. I never thought computer classes would be difficult for me, but it kinda is. I eventually figure it all out...just not as fast as I would like.

Math...Help Please....Again

Viloa had suggested on my previous that maybe I should post what is holding me up as far as my math. I thought about and decided to do just that.
The first thing I have to do is answer this question... What is different about factoring by with a common factor and factoring by the greatest common factor?
Now I am supposed to get this from the internet...which I did, but in my narrow-minded math brain it sounds all the same to me. Any chance someone can simplify this for me...or make sense of it for me. Type sllooowwww, lol......
Then I have these math problems to solve...and I played around with the first one...sat down and read the material and played with it again, but........I aint getting it.
1. what number minus 543 gives 718? Now I can do this logically and come up with the correct answer, but I can't...they want you to do it in an algebraic equation...or something like that. Do you understand my confusion?
2. a number, twice that number, and one-third of that number are added. The result is 20. What is the original number? 
And then I have to skip ahead two chapters and answer these...the directions being...remove the largest possible common factor.
3a^2+3a
Well, I will only post the one question...wth is the largest possible common factor.?

Math. What am I gonna do? Polynominal bullchit and greatest common factors. Means nothing to me. I have read and tried and it is not clicking. I am thinking I may have to drop this class...I just am not getting it. I need a teacher. My other classes, especially the one on campus, I am doing good. I have a 98.89 in that one....darn near a perfect score. I didn't even study for my last test and I got 100%. That's medical assisting stuff though. Now math........

I just don't know why I bother. I am either having fun in the chatrooms or I am frustrated. Never seems to be a happy medium. And I consider myself a very easy going person and most I know in my real world would say the same.
Anyway, I just don't feel like dealing with any of it right now. Will do my homework and then do something fun...like my laundry (insert gobs of sarcasm).
