| She is gone ... |
Mar 15, 2008 4:29 am 1048 Views | | You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she willl come back or you can open your eyes and see all shes left.
Your heart can be empty because you cant see her or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that shes gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what shed want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on

| She... |
Mar 15, 2008 4:20 am 928 Views | | She walks down the hallway of her school, Trying so hard just to keep her cool. No emotions can be read on her face Her friend calls out, But she quickens her pace.
Her eyes burn with the unshed tears, As she pushes her way past her peers. Some ignore her and a few stare But she knows that None of them truly care.
In the lunchroom she sits alone, Ignores the ringing of her phone. There’s no one she wants to talk to now, Her friends want to talk, But they just don’t know how.
Class is her own personal hell Nonetheless, she does fairly well. She gets nearly perfect grades, More time to study As her social life fades.
On the bus, she doesn’t say a word. Over the noise, her sob can’t be heard. She turns up her music to drown her thoughts Another sob lets loose But she hides it with fake coughs.
Someone next to her asks what’s wrong, She claims nothing, the story is long. The false pretenses begin to take their toll Another lie to hide Her pained and broken soul.
She tries so hard not to let it show, So she just sits there taking every blow. Every smile and each laugh is a lie. She’ll never admit it But she’s barley getting by.
Her heavy heart seems to weigh a ton She’s fighting but it’s not so easily won. Once so strong, she’s slowly breaking down, Caught under water, With nothing left to do but drown. |
