Men - I got a dilemma. When men contact me on FF, I asked questions, fun questions, to start a conversation as a means to get to know him. Often, men get offended and hostile toward my questions. My questions might include "do you like sports?", "briefs or boxers?" and "what college did you attend?" Now how else would you start a conversation? ESP.

In responding to ladies on a dating site, based on my experience , the things that help are:
- if he mentions something specific from my profile (it shows he didn't just send a form email out to fifty different women),
- a modestly self deprecating sense of humor,
- writing more than one or two sentences, but not such a long message that I will have nothing left to learn about him if we do meet in person 
-Proper grammar and punctuation,
-no sexual talk.

Why is it common for ppl to post a blog without a profile pic? What are you hiding?
