Well i guess as there's only about 10 of us who blog almost daily on here then it ranks right up there as an acheivement alongside my walking proficiency certificate.
But all the same i'm a bit chuffed. (yeah, yeah i know it's not a real reflection of popularity and is as meaningful as a politicians smile but ...)
I'd like to thank all those who made this wonderous event possible. My beloved commenters-Mwah. My family (Particularly Josephine my scabby-kneed Angel, who is my life's inspiration)Mwah. Gawd- Mwah, and anybody who knows me lol Ohhh and i mustn't ferget to mention the woodland creatures so i will.

Yesterday my parents came fer their weekly visit and brought with them a treat fer me for Chrimbo. a big bag o cold meats.lol Very expensive, very tasty cold meats.
So in the evening as i sat and watched me telly box, i (and fat cat Willow) sat and nibbled on me treasures.
I'm a lazy git and so i left the remaining large plate o meat on me living room table and went to bohbohs.
Got up in the mornin and as usual went oot on my mornin ride, leaving (as i all too often do) my front door open behind me. Bought some really nice bread at the local shop fer samwitches laters with the loverly meat.
Got home and discovered me meat had been shnaffled. One o the local hounds had wandered in to me hoose and thought his Chrimbo had come early. GIT! I know which one it was too cos i saw the booger (who normally greets me with great tail-wagging excitement) sneaking behind a bush when he saw me on my way home. Ollie t' Dawg is due a kick up the bum. Git!!! Git!!! Git!!!
Oh well I'll put it down as my good deed fer the day.

I am a Megascops trichopsis or if you prefer- a whiskered screech owl.
The wife and i moved here to "the glen" a few years ago cos to be honest with the kids gone the old hoose started to feel like a barn.
Now we have a nice little hole in a tree that overlooks the wheat field (always a nice tasty snack runnin around doon there).Friday night the wife goes to bingo and i go oot with the lads fer a game o 10 peng' bowling.
Well that's enough fer noo.
