i hate poetry.......

i always thought blog was an acronym for weblog.... hmm is acronym the right word or am i showing my ignorance again in attempting to be a pseudo intellectual..i could look it up but my other weakness...yess youll be suprised to hear i have a few  lol..is laziness, so, subsequently, i cant be arsed, anyway...just for a change, i digress....
weblogs...i love to read others thoughts and meanderings, but, im sick of poetry...i dont get it....a series of metaphors at best, a series of unlinked sentences at worst...why do people love peotry so much ???? if you like the way a rose smells..say..mmm that rose smells gorgeous..not ' the roses scent filled my nostrils with a beautiful intoxicating aroma' if poetry caused global warming through waste of words we'd all be fried crisp and dry years ago....though the fact ive writen this is a waste of words also..so..hmmmmm...i hate writing stuff, it always has a nasty habit of asking more questions than it answers.....

NO VISA REQUIRED for most....again if you need help and travel advice drop me a line but i know Austrian Airlines fly there from all over Europe very cheaply...so....come on down.....confirmed attendence so far....

you start chatting, and you know from the first few seconds that the person youre chatting to is special...so..what makes them special ?? Should we even try to analyse this ?
Im not talking about pictures, there are many beautiful ppl in the world ! im talking a connection, the impression you get that the person youre chatting to , regardless of what it says or doesnt say on their profile is just so damn nice !!
These are the people who always brighten your mood, make you smile or you just start feeling better about the world simply cos you know theyre out there somewhere !
i met a few people like this on FF...and im really blessed..

Now some may say this is a poem, but its a song lyric....im sure we could get into profound discussion on the differences but believe me...this, is a lyric lol !! think rythmic strict tempo 3/4 time......

lol..i worte this as i was getting divorced 4 years ago..the original was scarier and ruder lol....hell i was bitter at the time...but now...lifes a million times better...everyone makes mistakes haha !
Just wanted to share it cos im kind of proud of it. Isnt it amazing that our creative juices seem to flow best at times of intense emotion !

i hope everyone can spare a thought and light a candle for the tragedy in Burma...and if possible, send a few quid to an international aid agency..
the human tragedy is epic and the Burmese govts refusal to allow in AID workers is evil and sick..its time the UN stopped being so weak and passed a resolution allowing the immediate and forceful if necessary intervention by foreign AID workers...
Myanamar/Burma my thoughts are with you....

in the immortal poetic prose of the spice girls...ill tell you what i want, what i really really want......except when i t comes down to it, i probably cant..except for the that damned age counter to move backwards, and for chocolate hob nobs to have a little more consistancy to stop them dropping into my coffee so easily when i dunk them....
of course i want world peace a cure for cancer and an unfeasibly large bank account blah blah blah ...but, have you noticed, when your inner voice says...'i wish i....' it usually involves more mundane things...simpler stuff to make everyday life more bearable....
I also wish my cat could talk...
anyway....
