Geez, one little comment and it generates 9 comments from people. Well in honor of the sudden interest I am hosting a comment party on Brucey's Wednesday night blog.

Come as you are (assuming you're dressed)and stay as late or as long as you want. Of course you have to talk to me and tell me how cute I am and such.

I know I'm pushing it, but what the heck. It's my blog and I can ask for whatever I want from people who come here.

I have to laugh because I went to my blog for the first time and someone viewed my last night's entry 227 times and no one left any comments. I sometimes wonder if that's one obsessive-compulsive person clicking to view my comments one hundred times or it's actually 227 different people who have come to read my entry? Guess there's no way to tell.

Hmm, how am I feeling today. Actually not too bad. I had Arby's tonight. Right now they're running a special where you can get five items for $5.99 which is a pretty good deal. I had two roast beef sandwiches and a fry.

Then I took a shower and am just relaxing for the rest of the night.

Hmmm, another Monday down the drain. I worked at both of my jobs today. It seems like I just get home and it's time to go to bed already. Grrrrrr

This week should be kind of interesting as we have Homecoming at my school. On Friday we all get out at about 2:00 PM for a parade. Then on Friday night is the game. On Saturday I'm playing a simultaneous chess exhibition as part of a chess promotion for River City Roundup here in Omaha and then Saturday night is the school's Homecoming Dance and I've got to help supervise that.

In between Nebraska plays Iowa State in its first true test of the season and I also have to get in my hours at my other job.

Mmm two days in a row of sleeping late. I got up at about 10:00 AM today. It's been a relaxing weekend for the most part, no stress or problems.

I have to work about 3 hours today, which should be no problem at all. Then tomorrow it's back to school. The days seem to just fly by. We're already half way through the first quarter of the school year.

I'm glad the hurricane wasn't nearly as bad as everyone thought it would be. I have relatives in Houston that fled to Corpus Christi. They couldn't get out because of traffic the first time they tried, but they did escape.

Hmmm tonight on a whim I stopped by my usual Friday night stomping ground expecting it to be dull and instead my friend that normally works Friday was there partying it up with friends. I sat down and stayed 2.5 hours.

There was a benefit spaghetti feed going on so i took part in that. Also a psychic was reading people's futures and I have to laugh because some of the people take what psychics say seriously.

If psychics are legit why don't they play the stock market or win the lottery and retire? I think it's bunk but it's kind of fun.

Some of my lady friends got a little wild at the end. They invited me to go to another bar with them but I had company coming over at 9;00 PM and I didn't want to drink anymore.

It's technically Saturday morning here in Omaha but FF still considers it Friday night. I like Fridays because even though I work I can unwind and relax.

I went to my regular hang out tonight and two other people showed up. Then I worked 3 hours at my other job and then went out to a bar for 3 hours. I played darts which I am not very good at. LOL!

Don't have a lot planned tomorrow although I hope to sleep late.

Wow, this week just seemed to fly by. It's almost another Friday. Tomorrow we're having pizza for lunch which will be yummy. Then tomorrow afternoon, I'm hoping some colleagues will once again show up to socialize at a nearby restaurant after work. Last week I was surprised when I walked in to find over eight people there.

Then tomorrow night I've been invited out to a karaoke bar for fun by some colleagues from my other workplace. A lady who sits next to me had a birthday this week.

Saturday should be a bit more laid back as Nebraska is off this weekend.

Well had a long day. First it was a full day of teaching and my partner was absent so for three periods I worked with a substitute but things were okay.

Then after work I went to my other job and worked almost two hours there. Then I went back to school at 6:15 for open house which lasted until 8:30. It was a bit of a waste of time as I say about 5 parents in two hours, but that's okay.

Then I went down to the restaurant/bar nearby to see if anyone wanted to get together afterwards to socialize, but no one showed up so I left. I got home around 9:30 PM and it's now almost 10:30 PM.

Wow! I guess I forgot to blog yesterday, so I'll do one today. It's Tuesday September 20th. It was a reasonably decent day. Tomorrow is open house at my school so it will be kind of long.

The days are flying by here. Tomorrow it's already 4 week progress report time. My kids are also taking their first unit test on Beowulf.

Next week is homecoming and I'll be helping to supervise the dance again this year like I did last year. It should be interesting.

Well that's about all I have to say that is for public consumption. LMAO

Wow this weekend has flown by. It's already another Sunday. It felt great to sleep in today until the incredibly late hour of 9:30 .

Hmmm, I'm not sure what I want to do today. The weather here has been awesome. It is really starting to feel like autumn. Yesterday morning I walked outside and it was about 70 degrees with zero humidity.

It would be a great day to just go for a walk or a drive somewhere. I do have to work about 3 hours today however, so I can't wander too far astray.
