Okay I just got home from long and fun evening of singing karaoke. Answer these questions for fun:

a) Have you ever sung karoake?
b) Have you sung karaoke as a duet?

It's been a cold, cold week with snow and temps below zero around here. Still I can't believe we're almost to Friday and it's karoake time again.

I love Fridays. Usually I work then go socialize, then work some more and then go to my favorite Friday night hangout where my friend Rhonda works and sing or play darts.

If my friends from my other job show up we play darts and if they don't then I just have fun by myself.

Geez the last two days it was bitterly cold and now this evening we are getting snow. The thing is we keep getting dribbed and drabbed. It's 4 below but not cold enough to miss school. It's 1-3 inches but not enough to miss school. Altogether in the last week we've probably gotten 6-8 inches of snow but it's not come all at once so we never get any time off because of it. Makes me want to GRRRRRR!

It really just makes it more annoying to go anywhere or do anything.

Hmmm, it was bitterly cold here last night, the first below zero temps of the school year. It's supposed to be about the same tonight with predictions of at least 4 below zero.

At least my car started and there was little wind this morning. Still it's not particularly pleasant to get up and go to work when it's sooooo cold. Grrrrr and BRRRRRR!!

Wow, it's supposed to be 5 below zero tomorrow morning. With winds of 10-15 mph it will make the wind chill about 25-30 below tomorrow morning. Some of us are wondering if it gets that cold whether they'll call off school or not?

I'll have to wait and see I guess, but I'm not counting on it. Anyone want to keep me warm? LOL! I'm offering this once in a lifetime chance to any female volunteers? Just kidding !!

Well all in all this was a pretty enjoyable weekend. I managed to get in some holiday shopping.

On Friday I went socializing twice and sang karaoke.

On Saturday I got this adorable Dorri the Blue Fish stuffed toy (actually 2 of them) from the local Disney Store at the mall. Then today I did some more Christmas shopping and bought some boxes to put stuff in.

As Christmas approaches this will be the best I've felt about my life in several years although I miss someone quite a bit that I'd become close to over the past 18 months.

Hmmmm, I still have a couple pieces of French Silk Choccie pie. What will someone bid for one of them? LOL!

Well we got a beautiful fluffy 4 inch snowfall this morning. Although it was light and fluffy it did make travelling a little dicey this morning.

I decided to go Christmas shopping. I went to two banks first to move some money around. Then I went to the nearby mall. I managed to find an adorable plush "Dorri the Blue Fish" to give to a child. There was a two for one so I bought two because my bosses' name is Dorri and she likes Finding Nemo.

I headed into work at my other job around 2:30 and worked about 3 hours. I had to stop for a few groceries on the way home including a yummy French Silk choccie pie. mmmmmmm!!! Hmmmm, what would you DO for a piece? hehehehehe!!

Mmmm, I was going to watch my favorite Christmas movie, which is Scrooge the musical with Albert Finney and I couldn't find my copy. GRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Now I'm messing around with the new enhancements to see what I can do with them?

Hmmm not bad for a Friday. I left this morning at about 6:40 AM and just got back home at about 1:15 AM.

Worked all day then went socializing until about 5:15 PM then went to my other job and worked 3 hours there. Then I went to my favorite Friday night hangout. I sang karaoke both alone and eventually in a duet as well.

My friends didn't arrive until past 11:00 PM but we still had fun and played two games of darts. I'm tired but I had fun.

I love that song, but I have really begun to enjoy going to sing karaoke on Friday nights. My cold is all but gone and that is great. Tomorrow night I'm probably going to go to my weekend hangout and I think my friends Lisa and Rhett may join me for the first time since we all got sick before Thanksgiving.

Fridays are rapidly becoming my favorite day of the week. Working two jobs is kind of tough on the old social life and Fridays and Saturdays are the days where I can kick back and enjoy myself.

I am really looking forward to a full 10 school days off sandwiched around 3 full weekends. Even though I'm going to be driving to St. Louis and back it should still be wonderful.
