Ah the Rough Life of the Two Day Work Week. :) Mar 22, 2006 9:02 pm

Well alas, it appears that I'm going to have to work Thursday and Friday this week. LOL! I got Monday and Tuesday off because of a snowstorm. Then today I took a personal day to drive up to Lincoln.

All in all it's been fun but now I have to WORK two days this week. Grrrrrrrrr!

Well I'm in a pretty good mood really although today's career fair in Lincoln was a bit of a disappointment compared to years past.

A number of schools cancelled and didn't attend because of the bad weather the past two days. Still I was able to hand out some resumes, talk with some school districts and had time to go visit a friend who worked on campus that I hadn't seen for several years.

I was going to take my mom to lunch but she wasn't home and I couldn't wait around so I came back home and arrived by about 3:00 PM.

When we last left our beloved and somewhat tart cheesecake royalty they were still in Zeus' court being served wine by Nancy Boy Hercules. We rejoin the story

And once the music and dancing had finished and they were all somewhat tipsy from the wine they had drunk Zeus did drag Princess Cherry Ari Cheesecake Fairy of the Sexy Woods up to the Penthouse Suite of Lust on Mount Olympus where the quivering and searching could be heard and felt as loud thunder and lightning in the clouds that night and the people down in the villages below did quake in fear (in between smirks) as they stood amazed at just how much the princess could make Zeus quiver and search.

Meanwhile Lord God Adonis personal god and slave boy to Queen Strawberry Shortcake put in a limited night of searching and quivering for they both had to rise early the next morning to make the long journey back through the sexy woods to Mount Microwave.

The next day Princess Cherry Ari Cheesecake Fairy of the Sexy woods did come down from her hotel suite early enough to bid goodbye to Adonis and her cousin Queen Strawberry. Her luscious creamy filling seemed a bit mussed from the previous evening of quivering but no one paid any mind for their eyes were fixed on the fresh red cherry jam that covered her lovely upper torso.

Cherry reported that Zeus was "all tied up" with some important ropes..........er matters of state and would not be able to say goodbye to the honored guests.

Soon Strawberry and her entourage were off into the Sexy Woods once more to make their long journey home. They had but one more place to stop and that was at the Land Down Under Kingdom of the Belly Dancers which ruled by yet another lovely woman whose favorite song was Love to Love You Baby. From this land she and her handsome prince HR did rule wisely and kindly.

In the next episode we shall pick up the story there. LOL!

Do you think I could get a Pullitzer for this?

Hehehehe found out the white stuff was threatening enough to call off school today so I can sit at home and do as little as possible which of course is very appealing. We really didn't get it that bad, however the forecast is for more beginning around noon and that means it could get cancelled tomorrow too.

Gawd I love education. Then on Wednesday I'm taking a personal day off so I might only have a two day week this week. Woohooo 5 day weekend

No not the song, you, all of my beautiful, funny, loving friends. Time for one of Brucey's SHOUT!! blogs where he throws as much praise and positivity towards his lovely friends in return for making him feel loved, cared about and appreciated. Please don't get angry if I accidentally forget you because I ALWAYS do, but sometimes we all need to personally know we're loved or cared about. Plus if you want some of love and attention then write to me and tell me and I'll get you on the list. hehehehe

Okay this has been a great week. In fact it's been a great month. Really I feel blessed and happier than I've been in awhile. I have had practically no stress in my life which is a godsend compared to the New Year and January.

I sang karaoke three times this week including last night on St. Patrick's Day. It was fairly crowded last night but not with lots of singers so I got to get up there 4 times which I was not too sure would happen depending upon who was there.

The boyfriend of my friend Ronda bought me my first green beer and then I had three more over the course of the night.

I left about 12:40 AM because I was having a lot of fun. I also was IMing too all night talking to some of my very closest friends who now mean a lot to me. They know who they are and I love them, (some more than others).

Well it's Saturday and I have to work some today but will be home about 6:00 PM. No real plans today, other than to get my hair cut.

I think I'll do a shout out to my friends later today.

2-more installments at LEAST of the Cheesecake Odyssey. LMAO! I've gotta milk this puppy for all the attention I can get.

3-number of times I've sung karaoke this week if I sing tonight.

4-number of women I've got a crush on right now.

5-number of new friends I've added since I've gotten my Silver membership.

6-number of women that I really like attention from.

7-number of weeks of school my seniors have left.
14-number of days before a full week of Spring break.

20-number of inches of snow we might get in a big blizzard coming this way.

Wow, what a joy, I am going to get to karaoke three times this week most likely.

Last night I went to my normal Friday hangout because I found out they do karaoke on Tuesdays as well. I ended up singing 4 songs which was great.

Tomorrow night we are planning on going to Buffalo Wild Wings after parent teacher conferences and they have karaoke there on Thursdays.

Then of course Friday is St. Patrick's Day but also my normal karaoke day.

I feel sooooooooooo happy all I need now is someone to kiss me.........and hug me........and........ never mind. LOL

When we last left our ignoble desserts and their god man slave Lord Adonis, Queen Strawberry Cheesecake was conversing with her cousin Princess Cherry Ari Cheesecake Fairy of the Sexy Woods about the body search of Strawberry's handsome slave boy god Lord Adonis. We rejoin this group of desserts as the oddyssey continues.

So Princess Cherry Ari Cheesecake Fairy of the Sexy Woods finally got her way which is normal for her and dragged Lord Adonis into the grove of trees none too unwillingly I might add. LOL!
The searching lasted for hours and of course once Adonis had been searched he was obligated to do the same as a return gift to the princess. There was so much quivering going on in that grove that it was measured on the richter scale. LOL!

Meanwhile mighty Zeus arrived and his great hunger aroused itself within his loins as he spied the lovely and apparently solitary Queen Strawberry, pouting and tapping her foot impatiently believing her cousin to be carrying on entirely too long in the searching of her slave boy love god.

Zeus approached Strawberry grabbed her and hauled her off into the great grove of lust which was a quarter mile up the road from where Princess Cherry was searching Adonis.

Much searching did go on that day, some that can never quite be described at least not without being banned from here or going to jail.

Finally after 6 hours of searching, Zeus, Adonis, Cherry and Strawberry reunited in the grove. Zeus and Adonis looked tired but had s-eating grins on their faces. They had apparently passed the great test of searching by their dessert goddesses, and seemed none too displeased about the ordeal.

Zeus then said, where is that gigantic nancy boy Hercules? He is required to serve us wine tonight. At which point he clapped his hands like giant thunderbolts and in walked Hercules wearing a dress.

There was still yet much quivering to be done before the evening should end, so Cherry and Strawberry and all of their attendants left the table to go to the ladies room which is a custom still rampant today among women, while Zeus and Adonis debated who would make the final 4 and which teams to take in the March Madness pool on Mount Olympus.

Zeus and Adonis also of course traded searching and quivering techniques while the ladies gossipped about the size of Zeus' lightning bolts in the restroom.

Tomorrow after an entire night of lustful quivering and devouring Strawberry and Adonis would return back home where she would once again be all his and she alone would search him. LOL!

I'm going to promise to be positive for 15 days in a row (at least). Positivity is the key to happiness, relieving stress and enjoying life. Negativity saps your strength, drains your energy, makes you sick and can cause death.

By its very nature life is cyclical and its impossible to always be happy but in my view if you look at the scales, being tipped towards the positive side most of the time is a great way to live your life. So in dedication to my 15 day positivity pledge, I'm going to throw out 15 things that I am happy about my life.

#1-I have wonderful friends who mean the world to me. I refuse to give them up for anything or anyone. They are mine and I love them all (some of them more than others)

#2-I am overwhelmingly positive most of the time as this blog illustrates.

#3-I love my family. They mean the world to me too.

#4-I love my work. I have the rare privilege to be entrusted to other people's children. This is both a challenge and an honor. I love my kids. They are special to me. I think most of them feel the same about me. They know I care about them and because they know they work for me.

#5-I love FF. Not that this isn't obvious.

#6-I enjoy music and singing. It has become my one window of entertainment to the outside world. I live for karaoke on Fridays and enjoy being up in front singing songs.

#7-I love to write. I mostly love to write funny things because it reflects the humorous side of my personality.

#8-I love to laugh and joke around. I sometimes go too far but that's just me.

#9-I love to fish and like going on trips to interesting places.

#10-I love playing games, I especially like chess and roleplaying games but also enjoy computer games.

#11-I love socializing. I'm never going back to the life of a hermit where I do nothing. I want to live to the fullest and have fun.

#12-I value my education and my intelligence. I am blessed.

#13-I have been blessed with good health.

#14-I have been blessed with an outgoing, fun and playful personality.

#15-Longevity runs deep in my family so I feel like I'll probably have many happy years to come (with or without teeth). LOL!

Okay I don't often talk about my family on my blogs but I'm going to make an exception here because my son and I went out together tonight to my regular hangout and we both sang karaoke which was a lot of fun.

His birthday is on Monday and he has been in town since last Thursday for Spring Break. He has to go back to school on Sunday so he won't be here for his birthday.

I couldn't believe it because he got up and sang "What I Got" by Sublime an awesome song and he did a great job. I think that was the first time he'd ever sung solo.

If you wanted me to describe my son I would have to say that he got his wicked sense of humor and smartassiness from me.

He is a redhead and he loves improvisation, having fun and joking around just like his old man.

Yet when it comes right down to it, he is shy around women and one really gorgeous woman was coming on to him tonight some and he just smiled and acted like no big deal.

She was really hot too and she even danced with me and then thanked me and kissed me on the cheek *blushing*

I sang 4 times tonight because it wasn't very busy. That's sort of a mixed blessing because when it's not busy you get up to sing more often but there's not too many people to hear you either.

Anyway I've decided to post a picture taken last year of me and my son together. He's a lot taller than I am (which isn't saying much)LOL!
