Okay well I haven't done them for awhile so here are some shouts for my friends. If you want to be included to be hollered at let me know. Apologies to anyone if I forget you, I swear it's not deliberate.

Ari-You are a ray of happy sunlight most of the time. You are cherished, you are special, you mean a lot to a lot of people.

Moony-It is SUCH a pleasure to have you back blogging again. I love your sweet little giggle.

Jeannie-I'm so glad you're back from Spain and also that you finally got your computer fixed.

Lynney-You know I didn't think ANYONE had as much time off of work as I did until you proved me wrong last week. LOL!

Carolyn-I'm so glad you didn't really quit FF, because it would contradict my belief that we're all addicted to this place. LOL!

Carole-Back with a vengeance I see little Amazonia. I missed you actually, there was no one shorter than me except for Lynney around. LOL!

Dionne-Great to see you posting to the blogs again. I really enjoy reading your entries. hehehehe Waylan LIVES

Emma-I'm amazed at how quickly you've adapted to your new home and your new life. Keep up the great work.

Cindela-Thanks for reminding me that I'm not the only one who is totally freaked by dentists. LOL!

HR-Nice to see you starting to blog a lot more. You are a very interesting writer.

Back From My Road Trip. :) Apr 23, 2006 7:26 pm

Well I'm back at home tonight after driving home today most of the day. I left this morning at about 9:00 AM Mountain time but I lost an hour going back to Central time so on the road I spent 7.5 hours getting back.

It's actually a lovely, scenic relaxing drive and I made good time because the roads are practically deserted for the first 4 hours of the trip.

Last night I saw my son in a one act play that was presented with 4 other one act plays. They were all very good actually and my son did a good job.

After the plays ended at 10:00 PM we coasted over to briefly check out the battle of the bands which was about over. We decided to go downtown and club again although we stayed at only one place until about 12:30 PM.

After I got back I got online for a bit and talked to some people as well as posted a poem on my blog. A certain Potato Princess and I had a nice IM conversation. LOL!

I have to go back in two weeks because my son graduates. Next time though I'll probably take the Friday before off so I can take my time rather than trying to drive from 3:00 PM on.

Woohoo Brucey's Saturday Road Trip Report. :) Apr 22, 2006 1:10 pm

Well it's a beautiful warm sunny Spring day here as I blog on the campus of my son's college here in good old western Nebraska. I've gotta be careful cause I'm 450 miles closer to the Spud Princess than normal and she might fling a potato at me if I'm not careful. LOL!

Hehehehe I arose at the bright and lively hour of 10:44 AM. I went and paid for my son's cap and gown for graduation in two weeks and then walked over to see the mural on the wall of the library coffeeshop that he has been working on. It is awesome. Hehehehe it's a Starbuck's Coffeeshop believe it or not. The only Starbucks in western Nebraska that I know about. LOL!

Hmmmm right now obviously I'm on FF doing a blog. We went to a nice Mexican restaurant in town and ate lunch just after 11:00. I had a beef burrito, enchilada and Taquito. It was so much I couldn't eat it all.

We came back and watched a cheesy movie on tv and now tonight at 7:30 PM I go to see him in his one act play.

After that I'm not sure, there's a battle of the bands going on here so maybe we'll check that out, or maybe we'll go to the establishments for refreshments again tonight although I have to get up and leave by 9:00 AM tomorrow to get back in time to complete my hours at my other job.

Hmmmm right now I am feeling pretty good and am on the campus of my son's college in western Nebraska. I drove from 3-11:00 to get here but gained an hour back for being in Mt. time.

Hmmm feeling pretty good right now as the boy and went to three establishments. LOL No details will be forthcoming but obviously it's 1:35 AM here in mt. time and I'm posting a blog so I'm not in too bad a shape. LOL!

Hmmmmm, let's see there was plenty of intellectual stimulation this evening as a local establishment offered a "bikini contest" LOL! NOT that I was looking.

Just having a nice time really and don't want to go to sleep yet so we're down in the computer lab.

Wow that seems like a LOT of blogging but sure enough this is my 300th blog. I started blogging back in the Summer of last year on FF. I blogged on another site for months but on FF I was reluctant at first because it's not as private as that other site is and here even non-members can check in and read what you write, which is a little spooky.

I guess I'm a regular now. Once people start reading your writings they usually either come back because they enjoy reading you or they don't.

I've found that for the most part blogging is an emotional outlet for me. Usually I'm pretty positive but once in awhile I need to vent my frustrations or my feelings and this is a place I can do it without necessarily explaining everything that's going through my mind at the time.

I spent the better part of two full years meeting most of my good friends on the discussion groups, but I will say that I have come to really love and appreciate my blog friends just as much as my discussion group friends.

What's interesting is that for the most part, only a few of my friends from the discussion groups really do lots of blogging. So in effect it's like having friends in two separate worlds.

Well I especially like to joke around and make people laugh or smile. I think that there's far too much sadness on FF sometimes and it's just great to be able to forget the sadness once in awhile and unwind and have fun.

I knew Moony, Emmykinessa, Lynne, Jeanne, Carole and Cindela before I got into blogging but since I started joking around with people I've gotten to know and have a lot of fun with Ari, Dionne, Diane, GemofaLady, Carolyn, Andrea, Debbie and a host of others.

Thank you to everyone who has responded to me, laughed with me (or at me), and read or commented on my blogs. I suspect that now that I enjoy it so much that the next step will be #400.

Front Loading My Hours for a Road Trip. :) Apr 19, 2006 8:05 pm

Well I am pretty darn tired because I have been going from one job pretty much to the other for the past three nights in a row and working about 4.2-4.6 hours at my other job.

The reason is that I have to get in my hours by Sunday night this week and I have a big road trip planned for Friday and Saturday and part of Sunday to go visit my son for the last time and watch him in his final performance as the main character in a one act play this coming weekend.

The only trouble is that I have to front load my hours as the pay period ends on Sunday night and I won't be here for sure to work Friday and Saturday.

Well I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel now as I only have one more night of this to go.

One other bad thing and that is that I will miss karaoke this weekend which probably is the most annoying thing but it's worth it because my boy is going to graduate in a couple weeks and I love going out to visit him. We have a great time together and it's a lot of fun.

Okay the Spud Queen has brought a tear to my eye with a love fest post about her friends so it's time for me to follow suit and say some wonderful things about my friends from FF.

I love you all, some of you more than others. LOL If I forget you it's just because there's so damn many of you that light up my life now days. I don't know where I'd be without you all. Actually I do, I'd be languishing on some discussion group talking about something meaningless like chess politics LOL

Ari-I don't what more I can say about you other than you inspire me with your courage and your heart. I think you made laugh and cry at the same time one time which is pretty hard to do. LOL! When are we having another Y-woodstock? I can actually hear and sing at the next one. Just don't pick THIS weekend or graduation weekend. GRRRRRR.

Moony-You are to be cherished. Giving, caring, way too trusting, just a wonderful, wonderful person who keeps her smile and positivity regardless of the hardships she goes through. You'll never lose your loveliness I already know that. Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us regardless of how undeserving we sometimes are of it.

Jeanne-I'm so glad you had fun in Spain. I missed you a lot. Great to have you back. Did you turn off my cam?LOL!

Carolyn-What a lovely person. I almost cried the other day when I read some things you wrote in your blog. You have a wonderful positive spirit, don't ever change. Thanks for doing Princess Cherry's portraits too. I've gotten one offer from a foreign dignitary about purchasing. LOL

Emma-Proud of you my dear for all the things you've accomplished in just a short time. Hope you continue to go for what you want in life.

Carole-I hope you enjoyed your Easter. It was boring without you around to tease. Plus no one was crashing my "males only rooms" on the group except for Eli. LOL

Dionne-I'm still basking in all the attention I got in the Cheesecake Western. I see the door left open for Whaylan to live again. LOL!

Sinny-Great talking to you a lot lately. Glad I finally got you invited to my network. Can you PLEASE change that multi-tasking message, it's REALLY annoying. LOL!

Lynney-My best friend, like a sister that I never had. Can't imagine my world without you to talk to and laugh and cheer me up. Don't ever change.

Diane-I have so enjoyed teasing you on your blogs. You take it really well and dish it right back to me which is everything I'd expect from you. Was there anything ELSE about Hugh Hefner you admired by the way? Just curious

Debbie-Glad you started blogging again. Even though you DID try to kill Whaylan LOL! You were driven mad by your lust for cheesecake so I forgive you.

If I forgot you or you want to be shouted at, let me know and I'll be happy. If you've got cheesecake I'll put a priority on it. LMAO

Well today I worked a full day at my main job and then I worked 4.6 hours at my other job which is really tough because I didn't have anything to eat until I got home at 9:35 PM.

I'm going to have to repeat this for the next 4 days because Friday I'm going to western Nebraska to catch my son in his final play performance before he graduates.

I'll stay over Friday and Saturday night and will return Sunday but my 2nd job ends it's pay period on Sunday night at close so I have to have most or all of my hours in by Thursday night because I won't have time to work much if at all Sunday night.

At any rate I'm tired but I had a super yummy chicken fajita salad when I got home. I just took a nice shower and am sitting here relaxing before bed time.
