For about 20 minutes LMAO Oooooo but they do piss me off though. Have I ever mentioned how much I despise passive aggressive game playing?

Well Brucey doesn't play passive aggressive games so if women want to play them they need to go find another man who does.

Enough said, it's cold here tonight. Expecting the first hard freeze of the Fall. Brrrrrrrr if I had a fireplace I'd light it. Instead I'll just crawl into my bed in a little while (alone of course) and dream about all the wonderful ladies I know who are NOT passive aggressive LMAO

It could be worse I could be poor little Supercat in that raft in the middle of the river.

What do you think about crying? Do you think seeing men cry is natural or odd? How often or how much do you cry? What causes you to cry? Do you only cry when you're really upset or are you one of those people who cry on Valentines day LOL!?

Tell us about the last time you cried if it's not too personal and why? Tell us if crying helps you feel better or releases the emotions and tensions which caused it in the first place?

I've never really been afraid to cry. I sometimes cry at the ending of moving or sad movies. I even cry over some songs. I think I'm more likely to cry if something reminds of something from the past or if I'm down or upset about something. I cry when relatives died, when my cats died and sometimes even when a fictional character in a book, song or movie dies.

I guess when I think of "crying" I'm thinking of getting choked up and not being able to talk with kind of a lump in my throat. I'm not really talking about uncontrolled weeping.

I think people who think guys should never show emotions are a little touched. I'm a pretty emotional guy I think. I don't like to blubber but I don't mind being emotional when the need arises.

Hmmmm the last time I cried I think was the other day when I was talking to someone online about some of the things I've gone through in the past few years. She knows who she is . Actually talking about things and crying a little made me feel better.

I am really a very positive, happy person for the most part so I haven't cried a great deal since January. January was a little rough but I am probably happier now than I've been in a long long time.

I really believe that we only get one chance to live on this earth and that given the choice between spending upset, sad, angry or unhappy it's better to spend the overwhelming majority of my time alive, smiling, laughing, loving and enjoying my life.

Still as Ecclesiastes says, There is a time for every purpose under heaven. And there is a time to dance and a time to mourn. I guess I'd just rather spend MORE time dancing than mourning.

Hmmmm, well for a Monday it wasn't too bad a day. Didn't lose any plan time today due to shortages of substitute teachers which was a relief.

Got home about 4:00 PM made dinner, got into jeans, chit chatted online a little bit and then headed off to my other job around 6:00 PM.

Stayed there until about 8:30 before heading home to get online and chat some more as well as post to my group. In between slipped in and took a nice hot shower, shaved and washed my hair.

I've been hungry tonight so I had some fresh apple slices that came from the tree in my yard. They are Winesap apples and they are very good. Also made a Healthy Choice dinner for myself which was cheese ravioli and broccoli. It was easily forgettable but hit the spot anyway.

Well that's about it. Wish I could say that Raquel Welch showed up at my door but no would believe me even if she had. LOL!

Sunday Night Reflections on a Great Weekend. :) Oct 8, 2006 9:44 pm

Well it's 11:40 PM Sunday night on what has been a really enjoyable weekend for me personally. It all began Friday night with having a blast at karaoke. Then after I got home I had a blast talking to an old friend who was online at work and working the graveyard shift.

Then on Saturday I watched my Husker's win convincingly on the road against Iowa State 28-14 and chatted with some of my favorite friends at the same time on my FF discussion group called Omaha Friends Part II 2006. We had more fun on a Saturday night just horsing around than we've had in a long time.

Also I had the chance to chat a lot with some very lovely and special people that I care about. Today was kind of a catch up day as I had two big loads of laundry to do so I would have clothes to wear this week. In addition it was the end of both a pay period and a payroll month at my other job so I had to do 3.9 hours. My overall performance for the month was good enough to earn some substantial bonuses which kind of capped off the weekend.

Came home had some fun, relaxed, chatted some more on line and of course am now composing this blog.

It's payday soon, thank goodness LOL! I need the money. Friday the 13th is ALWAYS lucky for me because that means I get paid two days earlier. I feel as happy as "Supercat" LOL!

Alright now last night was one of the funnest karaoke's I've been to in a long time. First when I arrived at 9:15 the place was pretty crowded for that time.

As I arrived several of my friends including the DJ smiled and greeted me. There was only one empty table but then my friend Marcus who was with two lovely ladies invited me to come sit with them at their table. Not only that Marcus gave me $3.00 to buy a pitcher to share between us.

Then my friend Ronda gave me a pitcher card with my pitcher. This made the 5th pitcher card so my beer was free and yet Marcus had given me $3.00 so I actually was PAID $3.00 to drink a half pitcher. LOL!

There were not many singers and a nice crowd the karaoke singer's ideal dream. My first song was Walking Contradiction by Green Day. I sang by 9:30, always a good sign.

One of the ladies at my table I knew but the other one, her friend, I'd never met. We ended up dancing at the end of the night briefly.

Oooo, my friend Laura that I had had the tiff with was there and she said hello to me and giggled when I walked in, so that made me feel great too.

Well to make a long story short I stayed until 12:30, ended singing at least 6 solos and one duet. My duet was of course If I had a Million Dollars which the DJ and I do together and crack everybody up with some of ad libs.

I sang Green Day twice, James Taylor, Sting, Kenny Rogers, and the Ramones. Getting to sing 7 times on a Friday is almost unheard of especially if there is a good crowd, because usually later a bunch of people arrive and the line to sing becomes long.

Hahahaha the best part is I talked on IM on my phone to a bunch of my friends, sang 7 times, danced with a pretty lady, got my beer for free and even after giving $1.00 to the bartenders for a tip left the bar with $2.00 more than I came in with. LMAO! Then I got home at 1:00 am and talked for two hours to good friends there as well. LOL! Hmmmmm I think I was in heaven.

Except for not getting more than a short break for lunch today due to having to sub for someone else's class in my planning period, today was a pretty good day AND it is of course karaoke Friday.

Just took a shower, shaved and am fixing my din-din. Next I'll head off to my second job until about 8:30 and after that it'll be onto karaoke.

It's hard to believe but I've only been singing karaoke for a year. That's right I started singing last October. My first song was a duet, I was way too scared to do a solo at that point. The song was "I Got You Babe" by Sonny and Cher and the woman I sang it with was named Lisa.

It took me about 3 more weeks to do solos but once I did I loved singing so much that I would get upset if I missed a Friday. My first actual solo was The Gambler by Kenny Rogers.

The weather has been warm, beautiful and sunny around here. Last weekend it was actually HOT which was a bit annoying.

Hmmmmmm, I wish that a few of my friends would come to Omaha and go out with me and watch/listen to me sing. Now that I'm in my own place it would be great fun to entertain some of these people I have gotten so close to.

Tomorrow night Nebraska plays Iowa State on television so I'll probably stay at home and watch that while I'm online as well.

I finished units today in both my classes and had unit exams, so the day went pretty well. Ah well that's about it in the life bruceykins right now. LOL!

Hmmmm no students today, just meetings so that means I get the rare opportunity to come home for lunch and get on FF for a few minutes.

Of course naturally when I get here there's no one that I know online LOL! One of life's little ironies.

So why not write a blog? The weekend went way too fast and I suppose the fact that I had to work about 12 hours and I had to help supervise our school's homecoming dance made it go even faster than it normally would have.

Not too much going in Brucey's life right except that he spends an inordinate amount of time online and he's not playing Tetris. LOL!

I love my online friends, every one of them. (Some more than others ). They are such a part of my life now that I really can't envision going back to a life without them.

Well that's about it for now. I just made my lunch, loaded my dishwasher and cleaned up my kitchen before I have to take off to make it to afternoon meetings on the other side of town (thrill)
