Chapter II-The Cheesecake Epic-Quest to Rescue Queen Strawberry :) Jan 4, 2007 3:51 pm
Mood: devious, 869 Views
Lord Adonis knew what he must do. He must travel to the S*xy Woods and consult with Princess Cherry Ari Cheesecake Fairy.

And so it was that Lord Adonis armed only with a sword (really more of a knife), set out with his squire Michael the Iowegian to journey to the S*xy Woods.

After three days of travel, the dauntless pair soon reached the fringes of the S*xy Woods. The trees were still locked in their primitive erotic rituals, afterall that's pretty much all they ever heard or saw. LMAO! Adonis was surprised to see a party approaching them riding bareback out of the woods. It was none other than Princess Cherry Ari Cheesecake Fairy of the Sexy Woods herself and her lady in waiting Lady Chattingal . The cherry jam on her upper torso looked quite enticing to Lord Adonis, being the horn dog that he was. LMAO!

Before he could suggest a break to be search thoroughly however Princess Cherry spoke in a commanding voice which was sort of how she always spoke. LMAO!

We have no time for pleasure searching and quivering my lord, for on the night your queen was kidnapped, my beloved Zeus was also taken in a similar manner. All that was left was a note with two white crows on the letterhead pinned to a rumpled sheet on our bed saying, "If you want to ever see Zeus again, come alone to the palace of Princess Blueberry Mary Cheesecake Fairy of the land of the Razorbacks before the full moon rises again.

Lord Adonis and Princess Cherry introduced their trusted servants and noticed a slight glimmer of lust in their eyes, paling only when compared to the glimmer of lust that was usually in their own eyes. But since time was short, and so were all of them, they decided to make with all due haste south to the Land of the Razorbacks and the palace of Princess Blueberry Mary Cheesecake Fairy.

It was difficult to keep Michael the Iowegian away from Lady Chattingal on that long journey, almost as tough as it was for Princess Cherry and Lord Adonis to refrain from quivering and searching, but they summoned all of their will power and relied to a certain extent on ice baths to diminish their lustful urges. They must not weaken themselves before reaching the dangerous Kingdom of the Razorbacks

The legends of the beautiful luscious creamy filling of Princess Blueberry Mary were well known by all. It was said that no one could resist her once their tongue had tasted the blueberry cheesecake that drove ordinary men wild with desire. It was furthermore known that Princess Mary's paramour Sir T, was a lover with almost identical prowess to Zeus himself. Indeed Princess Cherry and Lord Adonis stood facing the greatest danger they had ever faced particularly for two people as h-ey as they were

Return of the Cheesecake Epic :) The Sequel :) Jan 3, 2007 9:39 pm
Mood: devious, 868 Views
Many months had passed in the land of Mount Microwave since the last adventure of Queen Strawberry Cheesecake and her pampered slave boy god Lord Adonis.

Many nights did pass where Lord Adonis sunk his tongue and teeth into Strawberry's creamy luscious filling causing her much quivering. Many of the kitchen appliances near Mount Microwave had trouble sleeping some nights and several tripped circuit breakers.

One day in January however as Lord Adonis ascended Mount Microwave to deeply satisfy his queen (and himself) he was astonished to find she was gone. Only a thin trail of graham cracker crust and some strawberry jam that had shaken loose from her quivering upper torso indicated that someone had kidnapped the queen.

Adonis was distraught, not to mention hungry but knew not where to turn. None of the appliances but the Can Opener had seen or heard anything. The Can Opener spoke to Adonis now in his hour of need and informed him that a ransom note had been taped to him by a hooded figure who crept up Mount Microwave in the middle of the night and abducted Queen Strawberry much like Persephone had been taken by Hades (only a lot messier). LMAO

Adonis read the ransom note which bore the strange symbol of two white crows on the letterhead, with great trepidation (and hunger). It said, "If you want to ever see Queen Strawberry or her luscious creamy filling and strawberry jam laden torso again, come alone with only Strawberry's cousin, Princess Cherry Ari Cheesecake Fairy of the Sexy Woods to Arkansas to the castle of Princess Blueberry Mary Cheesecake Fairy of Razorback land before the full moon rises or you'll never see or taste your queen again."

Adonis screwed up his courage. He remembered the last visit to the Sexy Woods and although he certainly looked forward to some searching and quivering, he knew that Princess Cherry would likely resist travelling with Lord Adonis to a far off land where danger was everyone's middle name along with "s*x".

Still his love/lust for Queen Strawberry burned hot in his heart and so without further adieu he set forth on yet another cheesecake adventure. LMAO!

To be continued

Kind of a Catch-Up Day. Jan 3, 2007 7:55 pm
Mood: bored, 751 Views
Well I did accomplish some things today but they were not particularly exciting. I had to get my oil changed in my car today at 11:00 AM so that kind of split up my day and made it seem like there was not much time. Still I got my wiper blades replaced because they were not working properly and the weather has been bad around here lately and I can't afford wiper blades that don't get the water and ice off my windshield.

Then I had a ton of laundry to get done and had some maintenance and repair needs that needed attending too. By the time I got back and ate, it was about time to go to work and then by the time I got off work it was just past 9:00 PM.

So anyway I wish I could say my day was filled with excitement and joy but unfortunately it wasn't

Hahahaha okay well I am going to compose a much requested sequel to the Cheesecake Epics. Take the time to let me know if you want to be included as a character or not. Other than Ari who has no choice LMAO!, everyone can tell me if they prefer not to be a part of this parody epic of the s*xiest cheesecake women you've ever set your eyes or taste buds on.

If you don't specify you are fair game Princess Cherry Ari Cheesecake Fairy of the S*xy Woods shall ride again soon. LMAO!

I Love Lazy Days :) Jan 2, 2007 12:51 pm
Mood: devious, 793 Views
Okay today is just one of those much appreciated "lazy days". No school until next Monday so I can stay up late carousing not that I EVER carouse, and I can get up late (9:15 today). Then I can sit around on my buns and do whatever I feel like which today has amounted to making lunch, cleaning my bathroom, posting discussion topics, blogs and IMing and watching the extended edition of The Two Towers.

Although I have to work at my other job tonight, I don't have to be there until 5 or 6. Then tonight I am going out karaoking and staying late woohoo

After that it's home for more carousing (not that I ever carouse), followed by bedtime at about 2:00 AM or so and sleeping late tomorrow on yet another lazy day

I could get used to this. I would make a really crappy Puritan. LMAO!

Ending One Year, Starting Another. Shout to My Friends. Jan 1, 2007 11:03 am
Mood: bouncy, 870 Views
Okay I haven't done one of these for quite awhile but it's the perfect time to do on the first day of 2007. 2006 is a year I'll never forget and for the most part the year ended with me feeling fairly happy and content with my life. But this is about my friends. I am going to shout a tribute to as many of you as I can think of. If I don't say your name it's either because I don't know you that well yet or you don't usually read my blog anyway or because I forgot (most likely). In any case don't get offended, just respond with a comment and I'll respond back.

Cindela-I'm so glad we're still friends. It is great that you've moved into your own house. Go girl.

Ari-You are such a great friend and a dear person to me Ari. Even though we constantly give each other crap, you know I love you lady

Mary (Cruiser)-You have become one of my closest friends in a short amount of time. You are really terrific lady and I can't wait until the day we meet face to face.

Lynney-You got me through my darkest days this past year in January when no one else I knew well enough really to talk about stuff. Thanks for always making me smile Lynney and please try to at least average 3 days of work a week. LOL!

Lisa (Rojeli)-You are such a great friend Lisa. I hope you have a fantastic 2007 and I would love to meet you someday.

Lisa (Lost) Thanks for clicking on me so much Lisa Hahahaha I couldn't have made it into the top 50 most viewed males without your assistance. Please don't blame me for your carpel-tunnel syndrome LOL!

Belle-Thanks for your sweet, thoughtful comments and also for such an interesting blog If I ever come to the Philippines we'll have to have coffee

Misty-I have really enjoyed getting to know you and hope that you are having a great school year. I wish I could travel as much as you do. Thanks for making my numerology posts so fun to write

Eileen-Another new friend. You are a really sweet lady. You don't live too far away, I would love to meet you this year if you can make it up this way.

Carole-You helped make my new discussion group here on FF a great success. I miss talking to you as much as I used to but hope you will have time to come back there more often to post.

Eli-Thanks for bringing me out of the doldrums in February and thanks for helping me make my discussion group a very fun and successful one.

Chattingal-A brand new friend, but a very nice one. Thanks so much for your interesting posts and your thoughtful comments.

Elaine (El)-Another new friend. I have really enjoyed your funny responses and comments to my blogs

BruceB (Quietman)-Thanks for joining my discussion group and for becoming a regular here on the blogs as well. Oh and thanks for being my field marshall in the war LOL!

Michael (Quaint)You are one of the most positive people I know. I've never heard a negative word from you in all the time I've known you. You are an inspiration to everyone else.

Jentra-You are such a lot of fun. It has been a riot getting to know you on my discussion group. It would be fun to meet you someday.

Tommie-(NoDaisyDuke) Another wonderful new friend. Hope to get to know you better this coming year.

Donna (Sunny)-Hope that you are happy with the way your life is headed and that you are enjoying the single life.

Val-(Entrance) You are so funny. You make me smile. I still want a ride on that bike

Sir T-Thanks for being my spy in the gender wars. I know what great personal risks you assumed by infiltrating deep into the ranks of the women where you were threatened with massages, cuddling and soft beds. And yet you maintained your composure where men of far lesser stuff would have crumbled

Nia-Thanks for coming and going and coming and then going and then coming on the blogs again I'm still waiting for our duet. By the way I am NOT responsible for whatever it is I was supposed to have done to the owl LOL!

Clarry (SmalltownGuy)-Great getting to know this year on the blogs. It was fun talking to you last night on the New Year's Eve karaoke party.

Sinny-Haven't heard too much from you lately but it was great getting to know you this past year. Hope life is going well for you.

Carolyn-Thanks for being so much fun and such a good sport this year. You are indeed wonderful lady. I hope you can rid the world (or at least that picture) of those vicious albino crows. Can I borrow the Cheesecake Princess drawing?

Diane-(Allwoman)I so enjoy your sense of humor and your blogs about L'il Britches and your adventures. You know I look JUST LIKE Brett Favre, did you know that? LMAO!

Andrea (Funnychic)-As always I enjoyed reading about your life and your adventures on the blogs. Hope you had a nice Christmas and New Years.

Bonnie (Cetera)-Haven't seen you around much but it was fun getting to know you on the blogs. Hope your absence means you have found love and happiness.

Okay I KNOW I have forgotten people which is why I said don't get mad if you're not on here. Just let me know and I'll add you.

What's In YOUR Bucket? :) Dec 31, 2006 11:02 am
Mood: content, 700 Views
Okay, well most of us if we've watched TV have now seen the famous Capital One ads that end with the catch phrase, "What's in YOUR wallet?". But this post is about something else this is about the power of positivity and the dangers of negativity in people's lives to cause stress, health problems and death.

The late Don Clifton who spent most of his life developing methods of measuring and assessing human behaviors and trying to apply survey methodology to developing personality strength based hiring, co-authored a book right before he died of cancer called "How Full is Your Bucket?"

The title of the book stems from Clifton's comparison of a person's life to a bucket and a dipper. As CEO of the Gallup Corporation Clifton had access to some of the most fascinating data available to analyze the effects of people's beliefs and attitudes on their health.

One thing that was discovered through data analysis was that Korean War POW's had the highest rate of death per capita than any other POW's in the history of American warfare. This death rate differential was significantly higher and determining the reasons required some further investigation. Basically what researchers discovered was that Korean POW's had been demoralized emotionally and physically by a constant barrage of one sided negative information about their comrades, their families, their spouses and their lives on the outside. Their captors only allowed them to read negative letters from home talking about death, sorrow or infidelity. They also told the prisoners that their comrades had informed on them or betrayed them. In effect they drained the life out of the POW's with negativity and they lost the will to live, hence the very high death rate per capita.

What all of this has to do with us is that Clifton suggested we all have a bucket that represents our life energy and positivity. Sometimes we let others dip into our bucket to support or help them overcome problems or difficulties, but if we keep letting others dip that eventually our own buckets run dry and we suffer from a constant barrage of negative energy much like the Korean POW's did.

So what does that mean? It basically means that negativity destroys, weakens or causes problems if we let it. That doesn't mean we go through life and never experience anything negative. We all know that this is unnatural and impossible. However what it does mean is that we should dedicate ourselves to keeping our buckets full of as much positive energy as possible. We should also try not to dip out of other people's buckets constantly and instead should try and fill their buckets whenever we have an opportunity. At Gallup they actually encourage people to write out "drops" which are little positive affirmations or notes of encouragement to others. It only takes a few minutes but it fills someone else's bucket.

There is much research behind the dangers of negativity and stress on people's health. So this is not just some out of the blue idea. Positive people raise up the spirits of those around them. Negative people bring others down. Positive people miss less work, have fewer illnesses, live longer and enjoy life more. Negativity causes stress, anger, high blood pressure, stroke and heart problems. This is not conjecture it is researched based fact. Think about it? Do you like being someone who is a downer all the time? Do you like to hear someone whining, griping and complaining or would you rather sit next to or be friends with someone who laughs, is lighthearted and friendly? Most people will choose the positive person if they really think about it. At Gallup they call constantly negative people, "grinders" because they grind the life out of those around them. They constantly dip into other people's buckets, but they quickly empty the energy they gain from others by remaining in a nearly constant state of negativity and unhappiness. In effect they never refill someone else's bucket, they merely drain off the positivity of anyone around them. In a workplace filled with such negativity you will often see a lot of missed work due to illness, a lot of poor productivity and of course a very unpleasant work environment. Being a teacher I have SEEN such environments before and there are schools where the last place you want to go to relax is the teacher's lounge where all they do is discuss the negative aspects of their children, administrators or school. Not surprisingly these schools do poorly because everyone in them has drained the buckets of everyone else.

Next time you're at work, try an experiment. Write out a positive note or e-mail to a colleague. Just tell them they're doing a good job or it's nice to work with them. See what kind of a response you get from them. I'm going to bet that you will get them to smile and that they will come up and say something positive to you or at least thank you for brightening their day. I did it the other day to a young lady that I don't really know that well and within 5 minutes she wrote me a really positive pleasant note. In effect I made her day just by doing something small and then she returned the favor and made me feel good all because of a short three sentence drop that I put in her bucket.

I don't think anyone realizes sometimes that even ONE positive comment or feeling expressed to someone might be the difference between that person having a bad day and having a not so bad day.

Too bad we can't do that here on the blogs because there are many people on here that I love a great deal and sometimes it hurts me to see people getting angry, upset or offended by some negative thing said.

My opinion is that I have been very negative in the past and I've found that I was sick more often, had trouble sleeping and generally didn't find it a very pleasant experience. So I have pretty much dedicated the rest of my life to maintaining an overall positive balance between the two types of energy.

So as we start 2007, "What's in YOUR bucket?"

I'm Dreaming of a White...... :) Dec 31, 2006 10:22 am

New Year? Hahaha I stepped outside to a snowstorm here this morning. I guess it's a good thing I decided to come back from St. Louis yesterday because I just went out and the roads are nasty. It's about 1 inch so far but it's slick because it rained all night before turning to snow.

Naturally a week ago on Christmas Eve it was about 45-50 degrees here so on New Year's Eve we get a fluffy white snowfall. LOL!

One of nature's little ironies. Well at any rate hope everyone has a safe and happy new year. Hard to believe 2006 is history.

I'm BAAAAAACKKKKK :) Dec 30, 2006 5:47 pm
Mood: bouncy, 702 Views
Well even though I was still posting and writing blogs I spent the past 4 days in St. Louis, Missouri visiting family. This morning we left about 10:30 AM and returned home. About the only major stop was for lunch at a Steak and Shake in Columbia, Missouri.

Arrived home about 6:30 and I have been trying to watch football, install a new DVD player I got as well as check out new posts and blogs here on good old FF.

It's 7:43 PM as I write this blog. Compared to last year's trip this trip was very nice and very pleasant. I went out to eat in St. Louis twice and it didn't cost me a dime. I saw one theater movie, three DVD's on a big screen at my daughter's house, went and karaoked at a place called Bar 101 and watched football in addition to getting online occasionally to talk to my friends.

I'm still considering going out tonight because I didn't get to karaoke last night on my regular Friday deal due to not being here. Anyway I am glad to be back home even though it was a fun trip. I want to see if I can get my new DVD player to work and also want to watch my Huskers play Auburn in the Cotton Bowl.
