Life is too short.
Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness.
Laugh when you can.
Apologize when you should.
And let go of what you can't change.
Love deeply and forgive quickly.
Take chances.
Give everything and have no regrets.
Life is too short to be unhappy.
You have to take the good with the bad.
Smile when you are sad.
Love what you got always.
Remember what you had.
Always forgive and learn from your mistakes.
People change and things go wrong.
But always remember.............LIFE GOES ON.

I will try to keep these things in mind,,,,,,folks.

I've made mistakes in my life. I've let people take advantage of me and I've accepted things less than what I deserve. But I've learned from my bad choices and eventhough there are some things I can never get back and people who will never be sorry, I know better next time and won't settle for anything less than what I DESERVE.

to see...who will come and fix them.

Teaching My Kids The Same Way They're Teaching Me Oct 21, 2008 10:31 am

I have four kids, two are in high school and the other two in elementary. I usually make sure I have time for my kids and if possible I try to go home after work so I can be with them and help them in their assignments especially on math, computer and science assignment. If I am not around, my brother and sisters sometimes helped me with the kids school work. I still help my kids review for major exams, particularly finals. But they're getting better now as they grow and are coping up. I don't know why, for they kept in talking, laughing, playing while reviewing especially my youngest and eldest sons. In short they sometimes mixed playing with studying . They kept in telling me that they need to rest for they're tired and so on. So they need to watch their favorite tv show, play computers, etc. Have a lot of reasons.

Today I again portrayed the role, I helped them review for their periodical examination and even did reviewers for them too. But there's this funny side, there's a poem which my son have to memorized. To make it easier for him to memorize it easily, at first I let him skim it and then recite it. Then the other way is I wrote the poem but I emptied the other words as in I made it blank. As I've been doing this, it's me who been able to memorize the poem first rather than my son . And so while he was reciting the poem, am also taking a part, and it was really a sort of precious moment for me, sort of a bonding moment. Even my youngest son kept smiling at me, seems amused that I was able to memorized the poem . It's never an easy task but I have been surviving all through the years.

With that I want to share with you the poem that my son taught me in return

The Little Plant

In the heart of a seed,
Buried deep, so deep,
A dear little plant,
Lay fast asleep.

"Wake," said the sunshine,
"And creep to the light."
"Wake," said the voice
Of the raindrops bright.

The little plant heard,
And it rose to see,
What a wonderful sight,
The outside world might be.

She asked him if she left would he cry,

She turned to leave,

He grabbed her arm and said...

You're not pretty; You're beautiful.
And I don't want you; I need you.
And I wouldn't cry if you left; I would die.

It's easy to take one's relationship and each other for granted - to forget what life would be like, without each other to laugh with, to be with, to care about.....But whenever you slow down and give it a thought, you still feel that......It's one of the finest relationships you have and you wish the same sentiment reflecting at the other side too.

True love is when you shed a tear,
and still want him.
It's when he ignores you,
and you still love him.
It's when he loves another,
but you still smile and say
"I'm happy for you."
When all you really do is cry and cry.....and cry.

It's my bestfriend's birthday now, and as I happen to read a certain blog about parenthood Parents, I realized she'd passed that womanhood and now she's entering the frame of motherhood. I come to imagine how she was able to cope up with being a mother, but for sure she will pass it with flying colors with her love and affection for her kid and so am offering her this simple poem:

I love my mother,
as the trees love water and sunshine,
She helps me grow,
prosper, and reach great heights.
All that I am or hope to be,
I owe to my angel mother.
Because she is a beautiful expression,
of God's everlasting love.

Happy Birthday GEM and I love you my friend.
