"Searching for love had been a mystery for some. It is sad that if u want love, you have to search for it. Some said, you have to wait, but human as we are, we need someone more than just a companion. We need someone who could complete us. Many have found it so easy and many have lost it in just a snap. Even you have to search or to wait...

My Son

Time is moving slowly.
The day is almost here.
The anxiety and joy is building up,
For my baby boy will soon appear.
I can't wait to see your smiling face.
And hold your little hand.
Just then I'll know deep inside that you're my little man.

Then you were born,you brought me happiness.
When u were just a bundle, you are so soft and fragile.
As you grew, you made me laugh and brought the joy.
I know a brand new love as I hold you in my arms.
You were so up, smart and giggly
from the first step as a tot, then off to school,
but every day I hold you in my thoughts.

Even you had your own set of friends,
I worried, watched and waited for you
and hold you in my prayers.
Though you're all grown up now,
we'll never grow apart -
Whatever you do, wherever you go,
I'll hold you in my heart.

I have so much to share with you day after day.
And to you my son I will give my love in each and every way.
View life as a continuous learning experience son,
and there will always be something you need to know.

P.S. this also goes to the two boys I loved so dearly despite the distance.......or shall i say the 3S in my life.

I Can't Help But Remember This Movie Nov 4, 2008 7:47 am

While hearing news about the US election,I can't help but recall one movie which until now I can't forget, not only because of the cinematic effect, the story, but the way the actors carry the plot itself. They even copied the looks of some personalities and I must admit I was impressed, it feels like I was brought back in their times. And geez,,,,it's as if I was there while I was watching the movie, I can't help but shield myself everytime somebody aiming the gun at the lead actor.

It's about the president whose been a respected leader in the history of America. Through guerilla mission, he took custody of a terrorists leader who commit cruelty on his own people. But despite the tight security, the leader's subordinate got the chance to take over the President's own plane, the Air Force One, together with his wife and young daughter on board. They were asking for their leader's freedom, and he was about to do that. Fortunately since he was a decorated Vietnamn veteran, he became a one vigilante force in his effort to free his family and the other hostages, retake the plane, and thwart the hijackers.

After that he vows in his speech, never to let America hesitate again when dealing with terrorists.

Yeah, the title of the movie is AIR FORCE ONE and am pretty sure lots of you have watched it,,,,,am just curious, will the elected president do the same thing if he happens to be in his shoe?

So whom would you vote for????

It's been so many days, since my youngest son got sick. I was so worried, that there are nights I stayed awake monitoring on his body temperature. I was afraid it might be dengue and so on the third day, I took him to the doctor and thank God, it wasn't a dengue. It was just a urinary tract infection ( UTI ) due to severe cough and colds. After giving medications aside from the usual paracetamol, I felt relieved since his fever gone, as well as his coughs are lessen and so with the colds.

I would like to thank all those who wishes for his betterment, truly I appreciated it. I don't have to mention all your names coz you know who you are and please accept my wholehearted thanks. Luv u so much guys.

Offering Prayers For Our Departed Loved Ones Nov 2, 2008 6:39 am

Every November 2 of the year which happens to be All Soul's Day, our family always make it a point to offer prayers for our deceased loved ones which is being held at home and due to that I also practiced the same tradition when I already had a family.

Through prayers and by way of offering flowers and lighting candles, I hope it will ease whatever pain and suffering they are in. The love, hope and joy they shared with people they had left behind shall be kept forever burning and alive even though they may have found their destiny somewhere or even in the arms of the Heavenly Father. Their living memory reminding us that once these people had remained close to us and they, like us, had once been fascinated by the beauty and color of life.

I will surely continue doing this every year, not only for my departed loved ones but also for the repose of the souls who died not in the state of grace and hoping this will purify soulds in purgatory. Thanks also to the people from the church whom we always ask to lead the prayers and after that we all shared the food that we were able to prepare.

With this I want to offer a poem for our deceased loved ones:

To Our Loved Ones

God looked around His garden,
and found an empty space.
Then He looked down upon this earth,
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,
and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.

May all your souls rest in peace.

It's already November 30, and Halloween is just around the corner. While doing Trick or Treat is not really a tradition here in the Philippines, some people try to adopt the Western Culture to our own. Private subdivisions organize Halloween events such as Trick or Treat, Halloween parties and others. Malls around the Metro organize Halloween events too. In our office it was being celebrated the earlier since most of the employees going home to their provinces before November 1 to be with their departed loved ones. Kids come with their scary costumes together with pumpkin containers wherein they will put all the candies that they were able to collect from different departments.

Trick-or-treating, also known as guising, is an activity for children on or around Halloween in which they proceed from house to house in costumes, asking for treats such as candy with the question, "Trick or treat?" The "trick" part of "trick or treat" is a threat to prank the homeowner or his property if no treat is given. Trick-or-treating is one of the main traditions of Halloween. It has become socially expected that if one lives in a neighborhood with children one should purchase treats in preparation for trick-or-treaters.

On our part, we just put a little decoration at the front door so that the children who will Trick-or-Treat would know that the homeowner is expecting Trick-Or-Treaters. We usually give out candies, lollipops and some other sweets. But for a change, I've got a suggestion....why not give out dilis, butong pakwan, peanuts, and other Filipino pica-pica food. What do you think? Kids would surely freak out when they received those.

Hmmm I wonder if you too doing this tradition or you doing some ghost hunting, he he he,,,,better explore different parts of the Philippines then,,,we have lots in here
