What do You Think About THIS? Apr 25, 2007 3:08 pm
Mood: curious, 1255 Views
Sometimes when I am standing in line, I get a bit claustrophobic when people are invading my personal space. I thought about fabricating a device that would surround me with plastic porcupine like needles that would pop out when I activated a switch to prevent people from getting too close to me. I could use it when walking through crowds of people as well, like in the casino on a weekend night when you gotta wait for a machine. Imagine if everybody had one! We could all seperate ourselves and stay an appropriate distance apart. I could design one for cars too! When someone tailgates, I could activate a switch in my car that would cause long plastic needles to extend from the rear of my vehicle to keep the cars behind me at a safe distance.

What was Your FIRST COMPUTER Like? Apr 25, 2007 2:40 pm
Mood: nostalgic, 1226 Views
When I was in college, I worked in the meteorology department while I was studying climatology and applied microclimatology many years ago. I keypunched the data on a keyboard the size of a large desk. The mainframe computers filled the room, and holes were punched into IBM cards. I also remember my dad going to Peoples drug Store and purchasing new vacuum tubes for the TV. Every drug store used to have a tube tester where you could plug in your tubes from your TV set and find out if any were bad and needed to be replaced. And I remember the old radio that had vacuum tubes in it. It was about the size of a microwave oven. Now...tell me about YOUR first computer!

Should I ASK HER for a LOCK of her HAIR? Apr 24, 2007 9:45 pm
Mood: adventurous, 1125 Views
OK. Now JUST suppose (and I DID say "suppose!") that there was a woman who's HAIR intrigued me and I wanted a LOCK of it? Would it be considered forward if I were to ASK her for a LOCK of it? Now I didn't ask you if she might consider my request STRANGE because you ALL know that I have openly admitted to being...strange IN MY BLOG! So, having already known that the fact that I am strange is a foregone conclusion, WHAT might her feelings be if she was approached and ASKED for a LOCK of her HAIR? Now this is a PURELY hypothetical situation here, but perhaps she might feel a degree of PRIDE about having HAIR that a LOCK of was desired. But if she was unwilling to PART with a LOCK of her HAIR because she did not desire for ME to have a LOCK of it in my possesion, she might also experience a degree of apprehension. JUST...some THOUGHTS about an hypothetical LOCK of HAIR from an hypothetical woman...for future refference...JUST in case.

onetwothree_jump's Computer Took a Powder Apr 24, 2007 7:16 pm
Mood: frustrated, 956 Views
I have been off line for a few days due to being trapped in an office building with a firewall. I finally got the dial-up service hooked up at home, only to discover that onetwothree_jump's hard drive has crashed. So he may be absent from the blogs for a while now. Computers have come down in price a bit in the last couple of decades, but a new computer is still NOT cheap. My computer is in pieces right now. I finally got the thing to power up, but I may need to replace a few vacuum tubes shortly. Look forward to more exciting blog topics here, but perhaps less of the fancy type faces because this new dial-up isp is painfully slow...like me!

Some Thoughts About Race Issues Apr 16, 2007 7:08 pm
Mood: courageous, 1501 Views
Now...THIS is going to be a controversial post here. There are five seperate races and EACH race has its OWN unique characteristics. People try to tip toe around this issue, but I am NOT going to bury this issue under the ground! There is NO SHAME in bringing this issue to light. The media in the USA (communist controlled TV and press) have attempted to whitewash over the issue and pretend that all races are the same and they try to minimize the differences or pretend that they do NOT exist. But they DO, and they are important. I believe that ALL races should have equal rights AND equal responsibilities. But there is NO DENYING that white people make better ice hockey players. I am NOT suggesting that ALL whites should learn to skate. But its IN THEIR GENES! The whites originated up north ant evolved to survive on sheets of ice. They migrated south from Sweden and Norway, but their bodies were built for cold weather. Ther are the ONLY race with multi-color eyes, perhaps due to 24 hours of darkness in winter, and 24 hours of sunlight in summer. They are ALSO the only race with multi-colored HAIR. And their bodies can be QUITE hairy. The white males' beards are THICK. Animals that live in cold weather are furry. Now the BLACK race evolved in Africa and were designed for HOT weather climates. Their skin is dark due to the high melotonin content in the skin to protect their bodies from the tropical sun. And their HAIR texture has evolved to radiate heat and prespiration quickly. The Moors migrated north into spain and france but their bodies were more suited for hot climates. The Moors had to wear heavy clothing to protect themselves from the cold. The YELLOW (oriental)race evolved in a temperate climate and their eyes evolved for intense angles of sunlight which is common in temperate climates. The climate fluctuates from intense cold in winter to hot in the summer. Their skin developed variable melatonin levels suitable for cold weather, but yet enough to protect them from the intense summer heat. The Brown (India) race evolved in a HUMID TROPICAL climate. Their brown skin contains high melatonin levels to protect them from the sun, yet the frequent cloudiness and monsoon rains caused their skin color to be lighter than the Africans, but darker than the orientals. Their HAIR evolved to keep their heads relatively dry for a time, and to dry quickly after the rains ended. The Red (Indian) race again developed in a temperate climate, and in fact developed simmilar to the yellow (oriental) race. Now some people may become a CREDIT TO THEIR RACE by exploiting their strengths. Others may choose to develope skills NOTinherent in their genes and in SPITE of their genes, may become QUITE skilled. I happen to be a WHITE man, but I have NO interest in ice hockey. But if a white man who does have an interest decides to exploit that strength and becomes a superior ice hockey player, I say...why not admit that he has become a CREDIT to HIS RACE! More on this later!

One Day The Good Lord Will Strike Down the Bad Cops Apr 15, 2007 6:15 pm
Mood: angry, 1244 Views
I am always with the people running from the cops on TV because they are usually arrested on nonsense drug charges instead of murder or robbery. And the sorry people are always outnumbered and outgunned. I break out into spontaneous applause when a brave person manages to get in a few good shots at a cop and then escape! I would LOVE it SO much if the lord would STRIKE DOWN an evil cop with a bolt of lightning when he attempts to persecute an innocent man who was trying to purchase some drugs or use them. These evil pagans that roam the streets of Baltimore are like the Egyptian slave drivers who exploited the Jews when Moses came to lead them out of bondage. If I am around to see it when these evil police receive their JUST reward, I will consider myself extremely fortunate!

Age of Aquarius: Age of Pagan Gods? Apr 15, 2007 8:10 am
Mood: thoughtful, 1360 Views
In the Roman Empire before Constantine...people regularly PRAYED to gods like Jupiter. Now, Gnostics are reverting to astrological pagan rituals and forgetting that there is a Creator to PRAY to that can help them improve their lives more effectively than to locate what planets or constellations of stars mark the current location of the moon and sun so that they can calculate the tidal influences upon their lives and then let this ball of rock and this hot ball of gas dictate HOW they live their lives. If they are going to USE astrology to create their destiny, they might as well worshp Jupiter and all of the other Roman gods instead of joining with the Creator and living any kind of life that their soul desires! I will admit that, although I pray to the Creator regularly, I live my life based soley upon LUCK! I have NEVER planned anything in my entire life...and perhaps I might as well have prayed to a pagan god as well, because if I had planned some goals to achieve and then prayed to the Creator...prehaps he would have helped me to ATTAIN them!
