So I had insomnia last night and was hunting around and digging through all of my old stuff looking for my old college transcripts. I didn't find them. Anyway, I found an old Bible that was disintegrating in a plastic bag. It must have come in a box lot from an auction I had attended years ago. It occured to me that if I flip through the Bible, I might discover some collectible item used as a book mark. The Bible was printed in 1908 and given from a mother to her daughter in 1926. So I flipped through and SURE ENOUGH, there it was! A Nabisco Shredded Wheat trading card in "like new" condition. (They were called "National Biscuit Company" back then). The card was one of a set of 35. Anyway, I rushed to the library this morning, thinking I could find out what it is worth and sell it and get enough money to get my water turned back on. So I go to eBay completed auctions and THERE IT IS: A card just like MY trading card along with a batch of 23 others sold for...99 CENTS.

Have you ever experienced true euphoria in your life? If you haven't tasted it, you have NO standard to compare it by and might ASSUME that you experienced it when you were...just happy. But if you have been fortunate enough to experience it for EVEN ONE SECOND, you KNOW what it is. Don't be embarrassed to report what caused YOU to experience it...if you were one of the LUCKY ONES!

OK. Now, periodically, I become fixated upon a girl in "REAL LIFE". I am rather good at avoiding this because I live a reclusive life. But for some odd reason, my mind ALWAYS needs a woman to obsess over. The medication had been working QUITE WELL for some considerable amount of time after I got over Lena. Then I crossed paths with...Heather. Well, you can probably GUESS what she looks like. LONG, straight dark brown ! Does she KNOW how I feel about her? Not a chance. And she is NOT gonna find out. EVER! I will get over her, hopefully sooner rather than later. A few romantic ppeople might say: "What harm is there in letting her know you love her? Maybe there is that slim shot that she might return your affections". But I say: I have nothing to offer her. I am poor. I shall die soon enough. Why set myself up for a crushing blow that is totally unnessecary when I can continue to obsess over her from affar until my obsession runs its course? Well...one day there shall be a perfect PILL that can be taken to eliminate this crazy need of mine to obsess over a woman.

OK...imagine that you are a gentleman who has just turned fifty years old. You are still a virgin, and you have never had a girlfriend before. What do you SAY to a woman who asks why you have never been married before? What if she asks you about previous girlfriends? Are you better off making stuff UP or admitting that you have never had a girlfriend before? Will she think you are some kind of a FREAK? Will she consider you defective? (Yes, and YES!) When a young man turns about 11 years old, it seems SO MUCH more important for him to lose his virginity that it is for a female to lose hers. By the time a young lady hits 15, if she has not been laid at least 20 or thirty times, SHE is looked at as a freak. So there are a LOT of desperate, not quite up to par female teen-agers who are desperate to f*ck anything with 2 legs and a d*ck! (Sorry for the coarse language here, but once you get past 15, your social status in the pecking order has been PERMANENTLY established whether you want it or not.

A machine that could record DREAMS! Now THAT would be cool. A sensitive receiver tuned into a sleeping cat. Adjust the dials on the video screen and the snowy display gradually reveals a mouse and two furry paws. The audio is gradually tuned in and soon reveals the sound of purring. Perhaps a reverse radiotelescope that can peer deep into outer space and examine the reflections of waves that had been emitted from the earth 700 years ago. An image of the earth from 22,000 miles away reveals an image of the earth's surface including the clouds. A typhoon is visible gathering strength over the pacific ocean heading for Japan. So...WHAT are some of YOUR great ideas? (I promise not to steal your ideas...maybe.)

I noticed that gowerboy's last post got 182 feedbax so far. My last post has gotten about 3. I was wondering if anybody wanted to ghost write for my blog. If you have an idea of a good topic and a post that is better than MY writing style, please submit it for consideration. The manuscript can be non-fiction, fiction, poetry, a mixture, or...anything that you can think of posting without swear-words that won't get censored that might improve the number of feedbax posters in my blog so that I can pimp my bling.

First the Thai and Cambodians wanted to start a war over ruins. Now the people of Thailand have begun to revolt against their government. Is it time for the Americans to land in Thailand and sort things out to stablize the heroin trade? What do YOU think? (I included the part about the Americans and heroin to pick on BangkokBoom!)
