It occured to me today that I could MAKE my OWN coffin! WHY spend an arm and a leg to bury my arms and legs? But my NEXT project after coffin construction would be to secure a FREE burial plot. Perhaps the US Park Service would donate a plot for me in one of their parks> I could then go to work on my tombstone. It need not be fancy. A rock would do. Any ideas?

Anyway, melmac, if you flirt with all of the ladies for me and then tell them that I am HOT for them, maybe they will ALL visit my blog. Maybe some of them will offer to SEND me a LOCK of their  ! I scrolled through the entries and noticed that they seem to be listed in the order that they were submitted rather than in the order of highest or lowest votes. I had assumed in the beginning that my natural place was at the bottom, but each time a new entry is submitted, it stays at the bottom regardless of the number of votes it gets until a new entry is submitted. (I am HAPPY to report that 6 readers gave my entry a positive vote). There are negative votes already too, but every single entry is getting negative votes. For those of you that have voted positive for my entry, I humbly THANK you. To the REST of you: I UNDERSTAND. Sincerely.

I Went to an AA Meeting

I visited an alcoholics anonymous meeting and it was inspiring, so I attended a couple more. (I had not been able to locate any Narcotics Anonymous meetings in the area.) So On my third meeting, wanting to participate more, I asked if I could read one of the traditions that is usuallly read out loud by somebody at each meeting, and I was given one to read. Later, a gentleman gave me a little flier to read. The first statement in it read: Can AA help drug addicts?: No. The flyer went to to proclaim that ONLY aqlcoholics should be allowed to become members of AA because if AA added too many other things on, that they would fail. But drug addicts were still welcome to attend the meetings but not as AA members. After the meeting, the gentleman urged me to find an NA meeting because I should find a sponsor, and an AA sponsor can only be a sponsor to an alcoholic. I suppose Gamblers Anonymous has simmilar rules. But since I AM a compulsive gambler, I probably COULD become a member at GA and get a sponsor there, because there ARE members of AA who are drug addicts who ARE alcoholics. I have been VERY fortunate NOT to have become an alcoholic in spite of the fact that BOTH of my grandfathers were alcoholics. The genes that I was born with somehow caused within myself an affinity for OPIATES and GAMBLING...but NOT for alcohol. So...it shall be NA and / or GA for me next!

1066 has cut a LOCK of her JUST for me. She is gonna be SENDING it shortly! I shall be WAITING for her LOCK of to arrive to me anxiously, each day! (OK...actually, she cut 4 inches off and I DEMANDED that she NOT throw it away. I NEED it.)

Should She Dare to Wear a MINK STOLE?

Any wealthy widow who would dare to wear a mink stole on a date with me might become sorely dissapointed when she discovers that her mink stole receives MORE attention from me than HER!
"Ohhh! What a lovely coat of furrrrrrrrr! Mmmmmmm....may I take your coat?...uh, I will be right BACK!"
After an hour:
"We've found him, madam. He's in the COAT room."
She stares at me lying on the floor of the coat room, rolling around on a chinchilla coat, holding her mink stole and LICKING it.
"Do tell!", rich snobs blurt out.
"Sir, I MUST insist that you unhand that mink stole. And remove yourself from that coat at once! You shall receive the dry cleaning bills on the morrow. Now...SCAT!"
"Well...if I'm gonna pay to clean these things, how 'bout if I just BUY the mink stole from her NOW and take it HOME with me tonight?"
"Sir...and I use the term VERY loosely", the widow responds, "Not only will I refuse ANY offer from you for my mink stole, but I shall see to it that NO furrier NOR taxidermist shall EVER do business with you again!"
