The winter cold has been unbearable here. 2 days only in the 30's! 50's today and tomorrow so I am out and about again. Something new happened today. I was checking my profile and actually got a view from West Virginia! Most of the views have been from the other side of the world (Hungary, etc.)

First Snow Here in WV

About 2 1/2 or 3 inches of snow on the ground here this morning. The snow has just about tapered off now. Not really a big deal for December. The Weather Channel said it snowed on this date in Baltimore in 5 out of the last 6 years. Global warming? POOH!

What do YOU do to improve your mood? Any secrets? We all ought to be able to regulate our moods but no one seems to be able to manage it very well most of the time. We all should pool our resources here to figure this one out. Be sure to share even if the method is quite unconventional or even involves ingestion of ... something!

Been hard enduring the pain here. I operated on my bfoot again last night with a razor. GOD what pain last night. A week and a half to endure until my next doc appotntment, I nbetter get legal limit this time! Good to be back!

I found myself at the casino bumming smokes yesterday because I only had 40 cents in my pocket. I was feeling rather low. I stepped into the restroom and after doing my business, I entered the wash room to wash my hands. the walls were covered with mirrors and as I walked by, I caught a view of my  from the BACK! I must admit that it looked very SUPERB! My from the BACK looks EXACTLY like what my ideal woman's would look like.

So, I got a Pell grant to cover the cost of my tuition for spring 2010! I need 26 more credits to get my batchelors' degree. It will be hard for me to concentrate because there are a lot of LONG -ed women on campus! Come and visit me during spring break, OK?

Have You Noticed a Familiar Melody?

I frequently recognize old melodies used on supposedly new songs on the radio. I believe that it is not intentional plagarism but subconcious copying. One hip-hop song I heard had copied the melody from the old TV comedy "Gilligan's Island". More recently, another song I heard has copied the melody from the children's song "Are You Sleeping" (Translated from French)
Have you noticed any familiar melodies?
