ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE!!!!!! May 13, 2008 6:23 pm

Think what a remarkable, unduplicatable, and miraculous thing it is to be you! Of all the people who have come and gone on the earth, since the beginning of time, not ONE of them is like YOU!

No one who has ever lived or is to come has had your combination of abilities, talents, , friends, acquaintances, burdens, sorrows and opportunities.

No one's hair grows exactly the way yours does.

No one's finger prints are like yours.

No one has the same combination of secret inside jokes and family expressions that you know.

No one sneeze the way you do.

No one prays about exactly the same concerns as you do.

No one is loved by the same combination of people that love you - NO ONE!

No one can speak your words.

No one can convey your meanings.

No one can reach out to others in the same way that you can.

No one can comfort with your kind of comfort.

No one can bring your kind of understanding to another person.

No one can be cheerful and lighthearted and joyous in your way.

No one can smile your smile.

No one else can bring the whole unique impact of you to another human being.

No one before, no one to come. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE! Enjoy that uniqueness. You do not have to pretend in order to seem more like someone else. You weren't meant to be like someone else. You do not have to lie to conceal the of you that are not like what you see in anyone else.

You were meant to be different. Nowhere ever in all of history will the same things be going in anyone's mind, soul and spirit as are going on in yours right now.

If you did not exist, there would be a hole in creation, a gap in history, something missing from the plan for humankind.

Share your uniqueness. Let it be free to flow out among your family and friends and people you meet in the rush and clutter of living wherever you are. That gift of yourself was given you to enjoy and share. Give yourself away!

See it! Receive it! Let it tickle you! Let it inform you and nudge you and inspire you!

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE!

they brighten up mine.

when I haven't the strength to help them in another way.

I'll always need a friend by my side to act foolishly.

there's always someone that needs to be appreciated and loved.

What does make me think that I can?

Maybe tomorrow I'll have to chew them and swallow them.

I've learned that I can't decide how to feel, but I can decide what to do about it.

I've learned that we all want to get to the happiness at the top of the mountain,
but experience and inner strength are learned as were climbing.

I've learned that there are only two situations in which I must give advice:
when I'm asked to, and when my life depends on it.

I've learned that the real treasures in my life are those that will go to the grave with me.

BUILT FOR "THE LIFE" May 11, 2008 12:37 am
2845 Views
A certain old man relayed to me his story. He was too proud and happy while narrating everything that he accomplished in his 69 years of life. He has a beautiful, smart and very kind wife. They were blessed with four intelligent children who already finished their respective degree courses. They are all successful in their chosen field of endeavor. His eldest son is a doctor. His second is an engineer. The third became a lawyer. And the youngest is managing their family business. He has ten grandchildren, six girls and four boys.

The old man said he had nothing to regret his life. And now he is ready to depart from this world because he had accomplished his goals. He obtained almost everything that a man can desire. In fact, he was recently recognized as an outstanding senior citizen in his town. He is rich and honorable. He said that these things are enough for him and he is ready to die anytime because he believed that he has lived his life to the fullest.

That old man is not alone in this notion. Many people are like him. They think the same. After attaining some levels of fame and prestige, after fulfilling their aspirations in life and after they have realized their dreams for their families they presume that it’s enough.

Biblically speaking, is it true that what he had accomplished in his life is enough? If a person becomes successful in his life on earth, does he get everything that he needs? Has he really lived his life to the fullest?

If we consult the only book that we can rely on in terms of knowing Gods will and plan for human kind, we can say that this belief is incorrect. We were not created by God just to eat, drink and to live luxuriously on earth. We are not here to just exist for a moment then die afterwards, even how successful we maybe in our assessment.

Let us dig deeper into the true meaning of life and our existence on earth. Let us find why we are here. Why did God create us? Why did He give everything that we need? Is it enough that we were born by our loving parents? When we grew up, we studied in school and finished a course of our choice. After we are through with our studies, is it enough that we find our partner in life and have children?

And since we are educated, we are able to get high paying jobs and earn huge amount of money in easy ways. We have practically become rich. We have traveled around the world many times and met famous personalities in the business and political world. We earned the respect of our fellowmen and gained the influence that many people dreamed of. We belong to the elite group in the society. Hence, we have fully enjoyed our life on earth.

But, is that all that we want in life? When death comes, when we are about to face our creator, what will happen to us? Where are we going? In which part of eternity are we heading for? Have we thought of that? Do we consider the fact that death is not the end of man? Are we truly prepared for the future?

Our life on earth is just like vapor. It stays a while, then vanished afterwards. We should always be prepared because we don’t know how long we shall stay here. It is not bad to set up earthy things for our loved ones but we should not forget that there are much more important things than material wealth.

Anybody whose only concern is to eat, or to drink or to be merry is called in the bible as a ‘fool’

The wisest men who lived on earth said in Ecclesiastes 2:24,

“There is nothing better for a man, that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy, good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God”

I'VE LEARNED THAT..... May 10, 2008 6:40 pm

I've learned that you can get by on charm for about 15 minutes.
After that, you'd better know something.

I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to the best others can do, but to the best you can do.

I've learned that it's not what happens to people that's important.
It's what they do about it.

I've learned that you can do something in an instant that will give you a heartache for life.

I've learned that no matter how thin you slice it, there are always two sides.

I've learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you miss them terribly after they die.

I've learned that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

I've learned that it's a lot easier to react than it is to think.

I've learned that you should always leave loved ones with loving words.
It may be the last time you see them.

I've learned that you can keep going long after you think you can't.

I've learned that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.

I've learned that either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I've learned that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades and there had better be something else to take its place.

I've learned that heroes are the people who do what has to be done, when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.

I've learned that when the light turns green, you had better look both ways before proceeding.

I've learned that you can love someone and still not like them very much.

I've learned that there are people who love you dearly, but just don't know how to show it.

I've learned that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and still have the best time.

I've learned that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down will be the ones to help you get back up.

I've learned that I'm getting more and more like my mom, and I'm kind of happy about it.

I've learned that sometimes when I'm angry, I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I've learned that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance.

I've learned that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

I've learned that no matter how much I care, some people just don't care back.

I've learned that you should never tell a child his dreams are unlikely or outlandish. Few things are more humiliating, and what a tragedy it would be if he believed it.

I've learned that your family won't always be there for you. It may seem funny, but people you aren't related to can take care of you and love you and teach you to trust people again. Families aren't biological.

I've learned that no matter how good a friend someone is, they're going to hurt you every once in awhile and you must forgive them for that.

I've learned that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I've learned that no matter how bad your heart is broken, the world doesn't stop for your grief.

I've learned that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

I've learned that sometimes when my friends fight, I'm forced to choose sides even when I don't want to.

I've learned that just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other.

I've learned that sometimes you have to put the individual ahead of their actions.

I've learned that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.

I've learned that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

I've learned that you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.

I've learned that it's not what you have in your life but whom you have in your life that counts.

I've learned that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

I've learned that a good friend is better than a therapist.

I've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them.

I've learned that it's hard to determine where to draw the line between being nice and not hurting people's feelings and standing up for what you believe.

You have the right to be alone part of the each day, each week and each year to spend time with and on yourself.

You have the right to be loved and to love, to be accepted, cared for, and adored, and you have the right to fulfill that right.

You have a right to boundaries and limits, a right to be intentional, a right to choice

THIS IS ME..... May 10, 2008 6:10 am

I've been through a lot in Friendfinder.com. I came here to have friends and to be a friend, not to insult or to accuse and ofcourse, not to be insulted and not to be accused.

I've been insulted and accused here many times as fake, liar, flirt, teaser, bitch, a married woman, guy in a gals shoes, cyberwhore and that I use many handles.
(yes I've used 2 handles before...but I never hide it, it's not a secret)

I'm just wondering why some people hates me. Im just an ordinary member here who always stays at the corner of the room hoping to gain friends before the day ends.

As far as I can remember, I always tried to be nice. Well people if you think I'am rude sometimes, Im not perfect.

Anyway, I know I cant please everybody.

I dont care if some people here hates me, they are just people in my monitor. They can't stab my picture or even shoot the monitor. I don't really care about their bad opinions about me.

I dont care if they hate me or curse me. I dont fight and I dont fight back, it will not help me become a better person. I just reason out and stand up for what is right.

Not fighting and not fighting back doesn't mean I'am coward.

I'am here to enjoy and to chat and to have clean fun. I'am a registered member here so I'am just enjoying my membership and it's free, enjoy it while it lasts.

I've been through a lot in my life , but I'am still here standing strong.

Friendfinder is just part of my life, this is not my life itself. If some people here hates me and curses me, I dont really care, I will not die.

This is me. My principles might not match yours and you might not even think they’re any good. But that’s not the point. I have principles and I stand by them.

THIS IS HOW I WANT TO LIVE......... May 9, 2008 3:50 pm
3123 Views
This is how I want to live it. It may not be how I live, but it is the way I want to live. I want to live my life in such a way that it will be remembered. I want to leave an impression on everyone I come in contact with.

I want to live as Thoreau said, "to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and spartan like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to it's lowest terms."
I want to be open and honest with everyone, to be remembered by my actions. I want to lead my life in such a way that I can be respected. I want to live my life so I can be an example for others. I want to aspire for greatness but never be famous. I want to live sure of myself. If I doubt myself, others will too. I want to live my life in such a way so that in the future I won't regret my past.

I want to believe in myself. I want to capture the strength I have deep inside. I want to believe in tomorrow and what it might bring. I want to be able to trust and in turn be trusted.

I want to begin every day thinking this is the beginning of a new day. I can waste it or use it for good. What I do today is important because I am using a day of my life for it. When tomorrow comes, today will be gone forever leaving in its place, something I traded for it.

I want to be a friend to everyone. I want to always have a dream. I want to be remembered for the good I did in my life. People won't remember what I said, people won't remember what I did, but they will always remember how I made them feel.

"I shall pass through this world, but once. Any good therefore that I can show, to any human being, let me do it now for I shall never pass this way again."

FAREWELL TO LOVE May 9, 2008 2:53 am
3626 Views
I gave you my heart, I gave you my soul, and I gave to you all the love that I hold within me. I gave you my respect and understanding. I gave you my compassion and my passion; I gave you faithfulness. I gave you my laughter; I opened my heart and let you know my fears and insecurities, my strengths and weaknesses.

I gave you my encouragement and my belief in you. I gave you my honesty and trust. If I could love you forever, that wouldn't be long enough. I shared with you my tears; I gave you my arms with which to hold you when you were feeling down. All these things I gave to you freely and willingly, because of my love for you, and they shall always remain yours.

But I know now that I have to forget about you, because of the way you affect my everyday life. I know that I have to quit hoping that I will ever get to hold or kiss you. I don't want to wake up anymore, in the middle of the night, thinking about you and not being able to get back to sleep.

I don't want that feeling anymore, that I get in my heart, from seeing you without me. I need to fill that hole in my soul that I carry with me, from losing you, but I know that it will never go away.

I need to know what it takes for me not to see your face everyday, even when you're not around, I still see you as if your standing right next to me. My heart remains lifeless at the thought of losing your smile, the sound of your laughter, your tears, and the compassion that lies in your heart.

You see, I finally learned what real love is, and that real love was you. If you ever find that ability to love and care for someone that much, where each waking day is better than the previous one, and no matter what happens or what your station in life is, be it rich or poor, that nothing can change your heart, because you have each other's hearts, then shall you truly know where real strength and love come from.

I can't take back what's in my heart or all the feelings that go with it, or for the fact that everything I was or was capable of becoming, I gave to you and leave with you. Real love is a rare and wonderful thing, and as with most rare things, very hard to hang on to.

It's about wanting to hold and kiss each other every day. It's about saying "I love you" everyday. It's not just saying the words; it's when you cradle that person's face in your hands and look them in the eyes and say to them "no, I really mean it, I truly love you".

It's about sitting with each other and not having to speak a word, because two hearts have become one. It's knowing that the worst thing about dying would be missing you and not being able to see you anymore. It's about understanding and keeping the passion alive, so that every day is like the very first tme you gave your heart and soul to that one person.

It's knowing that you listen to your heart and follow it, because you know that there is nothing stronger or more powerful than the heart. It can bring you to heights unimaginable, or it can slam you so hard that you think even living isn't important anymore. It's about believing that you don't give up on real love, because it's such a hard thing to keep and it's not worth losing. It's knowing that all the trials and tribulations, all of it, everything, just makes the both of you stronger.

I write these feelings and words down in the hopes of seeing that it puts the feeling of real love in your heart; to know what an amazing feeling it is and how free it makes you feel. It's like being able to fly without actually leaving the ground; not many people ever get to feel that. I know in my heart that I lost part of me because the hurting never goes away; it will always be there but it helps to make me a stronger person in some ways.

So if you ever find real love, keep it in your heart and lock it away and keep it there for eternity and beyond. Don't be afraid to pass it on to other people, because it really is the one real and true thing that we have in our lives.

Live long, hard, and forever.

I WILL NEVER GIVE UP May 9, 2008 2:52 am

I will never give up
No matter what the odds are
No matter what people say
No matter how far
I will never give up

If I throw it away time after time
If I am one step behind try after try
If I miss dime after dime
I will never give up

Even when it seems all over
Even when no one else believes
Even when it seems I can go no further
I will never give up

For I know I have strength within
For I know I can persevere
For I know that I can win
I will never give up

Because it's someone else's fault
Because I am settling for good enough
Because I fear that I will fall short
I will never give up

There is so much I can still do
There is too much talent to waste
There is so much in me that I want you to see
I will never give up

Why squander all of my hard work and dedication
Why not show the world that I am a fearless baller
Why quit when I still have the opportunity to go on
I will never give up

If I do, I will not be the best me that could live
If I do, I will never know what I am capable of
If I do, I am not giving the world all I can give
I will never give up

I WILL SUCCEED May 9, 2008 2:45 am

Kept myself educated and learned to train my mind...
So that one day my greatness would shine...
Too many people underestimated my ability and intellect...
That was no problem for me because I conquered every obstacle met...

Now faced with hardships unbearable to face...
Don't know how to rise again, so I just sat down and prayed...
I knew that the day would come when I would surely fail...
Never knew that I would sink this low and feel so frail...

After surviving all the years of hurt and pain...
My strength and determination would prevail through the rain...
Still difficult to climb that hill...
But my will is too great to stay still...

When all the dust settles and all the smoke clears...
I will emerge back on top higher than I have been in the past years...
For I have faith in myself and that's all one needs...
To live in this world where it's difficult to succeed...
