When I was about 9 yrs old my brothers and I would go down to the dike by the river, there were hills and dirt mounds and trails with bushes and trees, we'd ride our bikes, flying over the mounds racing each other. One day while we were walking our bikes down one of the trails my Younger Brother asked us if we wanted to see a bee hive, Of Course we did! So we followed him to a bush with a couple bees flying around and he pointed at the bush then picked up his bike and tossed it in the bushes and took off running, suddenly bees were everywhere! They started stinging us as we ran screaming and crying, I didnt know where I was going I just wanted to get away from them, we all ended up in the backyard of an old woman who ran outside to meet us, she said she could hear us and wanted to see what was wrong, she ushered us into her home and doctored our wounds, I ended up with 3 bee stings, and not sure what everyone else ended up with but there were lots of Band-Aids everywhere.

When I was a of 6, My Mother Chaperoned my first grade classmates and I to the zoo. It was a drizzly day in Portland, and we were dressed in rain Jackets for it since there would be lots of walking. We started with the train ride since it was just inside the gates, My friends and I wore sneakers, Mother in short heels, the ground was a bit slick, we started to run and she told us not to run because we might fall down, no sooner had she said that, she was down on both knees. The ground was so slick her feet had slid right from underneath her. She got up and her knees were scraped and bleeding and she had nothing to clean them up with, We got on the train and I sat across from her, I felt so sad for her, looking at her scraped up bleeding knees and I vowed to never ever leave home without bandages when I grew up, To this day I never ever leave home without them.

Have you ever seen a ghost? An experience that cant be explained any other way than supernatural? Once driving down a busy road I saw off to my right a person push off on a bike, well the outline of a bike, it was whitish in color, and It pedaled almost half way across and it all turned into something like smoke, and drifted the rest of the way across the road, it was fascinating.

I had gone to the store for a few thing's and saw the strawberries on sale, so couldn't resist the 2/4 dollars deal, so sweet they tasted but knew they'd go to waste, what to make. I went surfing for idea's and stumbled over this recipe...
Strawberries and Cream Cake

Prep 1 hour Cook 25 minutes Ready in 1 hour & 25 minutes

"Makes an elegant presentation without too much fuss."

Ingredients
2 3/4 cups cake flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups white sugar
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O(R)
1 cup butter, softened
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup strawberries, pureed
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
4 cups confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups quartered strawberries

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour three 9 inch round cake pans.
2. In a large bowl, beat sugar, gelatin and butter until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Mix flour and baking powder, and beat alternately with the milk into the sugar mixture. Fold in 1 teaspoon vanilla and pureed strawberries. Divide equally into three 9 inch round cake pans.
3. Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in the pans, then remove from pans and cool completely.
4. To make the filling: Beat whipping cream, 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla on high until stiff. Fill each layer with 1/3 of the whipped cream and 3/4 cup sliced strawberries.
5. To make the frosting: Beat the margarine, cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Spread over the sides of the cake, and pipe an edge of frosting around the top of the cake.
6. Spread remaining whipped cream on cake top. Top with quartered strawberries.
