dancing like a marionette to your wishes and whims strings controlled by my need and your exploitation helpless..needy..accepting your terms..relinquishing my soul groveling in the pits of despair and valleys of pain don't call yourself 'friend,' you blaspheme the word! loving..sharing..giving freely..compassion..kindness sadly..something you could never begin to understand

though he cheated and even though he lied i'd still love to be the one walking by his side i love him still and i know that it shows he's walking away there he goes
oh, though he cheated and even though he lied i'd still love to be the one walking by his side i love him still and i know that it shows he's walking away there he goes
. Patsy Cline . note; my version of Patsy Clines song, noone can 'fill' this sadness and pain inside of me..nor is it for someone else to think they can or should 'be enough.' When or if that happens, it'll be 'in my own' time. .

I found an 8x10 picture of my family last night, it was dated 1960, and my mom had written on the back..our passport picture. Black and white, as was alot of the photos in those days. I was sitting on my mom's lap, surrounded by the rest of the family. I have no idea where this photo came from, imagine my surprise when I opened my sons graduation picture, and there it was, lying on top! Tears welled up in my eyes. I had found a real nice frame that I had planned to put my sons graduation photo in, but no.. this frame was intended for the photo from 1960. . note; this is the actual photo

see the way our shadows come together softer than your fingers on my skin someday these may be all~we remember~of each other please don't tell me how the story ends
never's just the echo of forever lonesome as a love that might have been let me go on lovin'~and believin'~'til it's over please don't tell me how the story ends
please don't tell me how the story ends~

Each Of Us Has Our Own Choices To Make/Lessons To Learn

We first saw her sitting beside the side of the road crying, cars whooshing past. She had a dog with her, he was laying beside her panting in the heat of the July day. We turned the car around and went back to see if there was anything we could do. I rolled the car window down and asked if we might be of help..she said yes, that she had been walking with her dog since early that morning. It was now around 5:30 in the afternoon! She said she thought she might have sprained her ankle, and needed a ride to her moms house. We helped her and her very tired dog in the car, and she shared what had happened to leave her stranded on the road..
It seems her husband couldn't find his comb, this wasn't the first time, and she always got accused of being the one to misplace it. There were words between them, he hit her, and she took her dog and left. He never came looking for her. From the guist of her conversation..this kind of thing had been happening between them(and to her)for awhile. She offered some money, and of course we refused it. We explained that we were there to simply help her, that was it. To that she started quietly crying again. She thanked us over and over. We left her at her mom's front door(per her wishes)and made sure she was safely inside.
I was this young girl once, and I stayed in similar circumstances for seven years, God only knows how much I wanted to say something to her..to impart some wisdom..but I didn't. You see.. I've long ago learned that each one of us has to learn our own lessons, make our own decisions..and that no matter WHAT I might have said..it would have gone in one ear and out the other. She'll keep going back until it is worse to go back than it is to stay away.
I've thought of that girl often since..and pray to God that she comes to that conclusion sooner rather than later.
