The Most Important Lessons Of All

If we don't learn from our past lessons we will repeat them. I believe that we are souls in physical bodies, learning through experiencing. The earth is our school, and life is our teacher. How much or how little we learn, depends solely on us, as we are given free choice. Those souls that haven't as yet learned from their lessons will return here time and again until they too finally learn. Free choice to learn what we are meant to learn here, the most important lessons of all, unconditional love.. happiness..peace..compassion..& forgiveness, the very essence of what the Universe created us to be.

that the opposite of love isn't hate?
It's indifference.
How sad, when it was once love..

Letting Go

It has been almost eight months since he left, and for the first time I can honestly say that I am 'letting go.' It has been among the most difficult eight months of my life, but the universe has surely touched me with its wisdom. Some things that have especially helped; realizing that the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference..which he has shown time and again..and selfishness, which sums him up in a nutshell. Add to that greed and lust..well, you get the picture, as I finally have. Thanks so much for your friendship and prayers. God Bless you.
. note; caption in photo says, Let go..and let God. .

i've never seen a night so long when time goes crawling by the moon just went behind a cloud to hide its face and cry
did you ever see a robin weep when leaves began to die that means hes lost the will to live i'm so lonesome i could die
the silence of a falling star lights up a purple sky and as i wonder where you are i'm so lonesome i could cry

'Use It Up'

'use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without..'
One of my gramps favorite sayings long ago became one of mine. I learned from one of the best, my gramps spent the majority of his work life working at our Washington Village town 'dump.' At least that's what it was called in the 'good ole days.' Back then things weren't recycled as they are today, the best you could hope for was that folks would either give their castoffs to family, friends or charity, or that it would find its way to the local 'dump' instead of ending up becoming the unsightly roosting post for birds, and home of nameless critters in some field in the country, or simply kept, and kept, and ultimately taking over the keepers living quarters.
Times are different now, we have been educated and encouraged to reduce, reuse and recycle. While there are still some 'holdouts' to this, we are making progress. Things aren't ending up in our landfills like they used to. With recycling programs in what we now call 'landfills' instead of 'dumps,' and places like The Salvation Army and Goodwill to take our unwanted, unused items, we are greatly helping Mother Earth.
Lets use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without . note; the photo is of where some of our recyclables end up, in other countries for recycling; our plastics being used in everything from clothing to rugs.. .

Can You Die Of A Broken Heart?
|

Acute stress can cause heart failure, and a failed romance may be stressful enough to do it. So that's dying of a broken heart, kind of. But sometimes people under stress already have heart disease, so whether the stress caused the fatal heart failure is unclear.Yet there is a syndrome called acute stresscardiomyopathy which looks a lot like a heart attack but isn't one, and is caused by stressful events. Its victims are usually people without evidence of cardiac disease who come into the hospital after acute emotional or physical trauma. The most common emotional triggers are grief(the death of a loved one, for example)or fear(being robbed at gunpoint or being involved in a car accident).

Things I Know For Sure..

i will never be as naive and trusting again
love is supposed to be more happy than painful
relationships take alot of time and work by two people
happiness is found within ourselves first
you can't, and wouldn't even want, to try to make someone love u, it will never happen..
we learn something from every relationship
it takes two mature adults to weather lifes obstacles together
give yourself time, cry as often and as much as you need to, talk, talk, talk it to death if you need to..then love yourself enough to move on~

every night in my dreams i see you, i feel you that is how i know you go on
far across the distance and spaces between us you have come to show you go on
near, far, wherever you are i believe that the heart does go on once more you open the door and you're here in my heart and my heart will go on and on
love can touch us one time and last for a lifetime and never let go till we're gone
love was when i loved you one true time i hold to in my life we'll always go on
near, far, wherever you are i believe that the heart does go on once more you open the door and you're here in my heart and my heart will go on and on
you're here, there's nothing i fear and i know that my heart will go on we'll stay forever this way you are safe in my heart and my heart will go on and on
