Mood: thankful, 701 Views |  | About a month ago I was at another site. It's a fast based site for people to ask questions and give advice/opinions.
One gal had asked (in great depth) about a current situation about a guy. As I read I formed my opinion. To me, based on what she said, he was clearly being using her for s*x.
I chose to answer and share my opinion. Before I clicked post, I thought about my answer. I analyized it over and over. I knew I was being 'brutally honest' as some call it. If she CHOSE to she could have been OFFENDED by it.
I asked myself a few questions (before posting):
Am I being offensive, is this my intent? No, just honestly basing my opinion on what she wrote and my past experiences. No offense meant!
Am I meaning to hurt this person? Not at all, she is clearly hurting enough! 
Do I think my opinion may be helpful? Yes, it can be if she takes it in the context I mean it!
Should I listen to my instinct and post, or maybe reword it? No, click post you moron!! Listen to your instinct. Its your instinct to post so do it and stop procrastinating!
Ok *big gulp* POST. Well there it was for her too see. Please lady...take it like I mean it! 
Time went on, I forgot about it. I received an email from the site. Someone had messaged me to thank me for my opinion. Hmmm curious I went to see it.
WOW!! It was this gal. She didn't rip my face off.  She thanked me for 'telling it like it is' (she knew in her heart he was using her and didn't want to be honest with herself).
Sometimes we say and do things which can be taken wrong. Sometimes people misunderstand our intent and ASSUME we are being mean, rude etc.
The only person who really knows the intent is the person saying or doing it. If in doubt ASK the person before ASSUMING anything. This can eliminate many issues!
Just thought I would share a Sweetnsassy moment.

| Bad things come in 3's? |

Mood: hopeful, 571 Views |  | Hi everyone! Hope life is treating you all well.
Bad things come in three's they say. Well here I am on 6!! 
First we all got colds, terrible coughs which seem hard to get rid of.
Next my eldest son slipped on some ice and pulled some tendons. He is better now!
Then my computer's hard drive packed it in.
The kids computer got a virus which I can't get rid of it. :'(
Last Monday, after going through alot of pain I had my gull bladder removed, so still on the mend.
Now my daughter wakes up this morning with her throat all swollen so shes off to the DR.
Wheeeew hope thats it! 
I am managing to stay in good spirits for the most part and hoping things settle down. I really miss work. Its hard sitting around so much and not having people to talk too!!
I guess the lesson learned in all of these things is a reminder to not take things for granted and appreciate EVERYTHING we have in life! Simple things such as going for a walk without pain. Feeling the sunshine warm your face. Breathing fresh air etc. These are small things we forget to be grateful for, we take them for granted and shouldn't.
Anyways enough whinning! Thanks for stopping in and take care of you!!!!

So if I commented and my smilies don't make sense just ignore it please!

Life has been extremely busy here. I am currently working fulltime and have taken on a part time job to help out a friend. Add the kids, house and all and that makes a very busy Sweetnsassygurl!
Miss ya all here in the blogs and hope to have time to catch up with your lives soon.

Sometimes in life we get caught offguard and wonder how we can handle what we were dealt with. We accept our part, take responsibility for our actions but still ponder how we can get through the latest challenges.
When you feel there is nowhere to turn, nobody to talk too...what do you do? Some things in life are harder to share with others and we don't feel safe dicussing these issues with anyone. How do you handle these times? Mull it all over in your mind? Write it out on paper? |

| The Reason.... |

I am a firm believer that everything in life happens for a reason.
Every person we come into contact with....is for a reason.
Every experience.....is for a reason.
Every decision...is for a reason.
After pondering a situation for a month now, I come up empty handed...I can't find the reason.
Why is that? Too soon? Not time yet to learn what I am meant to learn? I just wanna learn it so I can move forward.

Mood: curious, 2004 Views |  | First off HI!  Sure hope everyone is doing well, its been a while.
Life has been hectic here in Canuckland. Lots going on. Some things have taken place lately which has lead to my most recent 'pondering session'.
Why is it so much easier to see what is happening in other peoples lives? How can things be so clear when we aren't directly involved?
When it comes to our own lives, experiences, we don't see whats 'really' happening (or maybe CHOOSE not to see????).
Then we take a step back and see things as they really are and kick ourselves in the a$$ and wonder why we didn't see what was going on. 
Maybe this is all just LIFE, helping us learn our lessons we need to learn?
I would appreciate any input on this. Thank you and enjoy the upcoming week! |

Mood: rejuvenated, 2242 Views |  | Ok lets try posting again! New day so maybe I will get lucky.
Saturday was spent at the local rodeo/fair. We had a mix of rain, sun, cloud, and wind. The kids had a blast despite the weather. Seeing their expressions....happiness, made it all worth it. Turned out to be an great time!
Sunday found us all tuckered out. Raining so much we were about to flood in some parts. Motivation was completely gone. Managed to get a few things done but not half of the things on the 'To do list'. Shame on me!! *spanks self* Before heading off to bed I returned some emails, in one I said how I hoped I would wake up feeling energetic and motivated!
Ask and ye shall receive!! WOO HOO!! The sun is shining so bright out there. Motivation is back so maybe I can finish off that to do list today!
Funny how the weather can affect our moods and energy level. Bright skies seem to bring bright moods, dull skies seem to bring dull moods. Guess its one of those things which we have to work through, and learn to not allow the weather to have an affect of us.
Anyways I should get showered and on with my day. Last day of the long weekend here!! Enjoy your Monday. |
