Mood: curious, 170 Views |  | Reading James-Sir_T's blog about using first names.
How do you view using someones first name (real name)?
When is it ok to use someones real name?
When is it wrong to use someones real name?
Is there a 'blog etiquette' rule I don't know about regarding this?
I remember this topic being blogged waaaaaay back along time ago but can't remember what the answers were or who blogged it.

| New day.... |

Mood: calm, 298 Views |  | Well I woke this morning to SUN!  What a nice surprise.
At work our administrator is on holidays so we have to take her place and fill in for her. So its been interesting, learning new things and lots of giggles (I am glad I can laugh at myself!). 
It was a nice day for a change. I think it has alot to do with attitude. The worrying and stress over the past few days has been awful. I can't live like that. I HAVE to stay positive and focused.
From everything bad, there is good and I sit quietly and look for the good. Although change can be scary, it can also be rewarding. For every problem there is a solution.
I have no idea what life will bring but I sure hope its great things, some solutions!
Thank you to all that have taken the time to read, and respond to my blogs. I appreciate the advice, support that I get here in blogville. You all mean so much to me!

I was typing along and everything is ok then I went to do a question mark and got this....
ÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉ (these are my question marks) 
Where the hellz did this come from (insert question mark here!)
What have I done, how do I fix it (insert question mark here!)
There are various keys that are not doing as they should. I use this puter for work as well and it isn`t gonna be cool if my keyboard is all wacked!

| Doggy Advice? |

Mood: mellow, 621 Views |  | ARRGGGHH, lil missy....my daughter had a flip out a few days back. Both the dogs were chewing their behind so she googles the symptoms and was convinced they have mange (SP?). I suggested to just get some flea medicine but NOOOOOOOOO mom is old and stupid! 
She takes both dogs to the vet. After paying $400.00 the diagnosis is FLEAS! Hmmm now is mom so stupid? I think not!
While she was there she asked about my lil dogs teeth. He's 13 and needs his teeth clean. So she gets an estimate......$400-$580!
I was asking a co-worker (she used to work at this particular vets office) for suggestions and she said just get a doggy tooth brush and tooth paste. She felt it would help alot but maybe not totally clear things up.
So my question is what are your thoughts on this? Have you used a tooth brush/paste on your pets? If so has it helped? |

| Body language...personal space. |

Mood: contemplative, 663 Views |  | We all have our personal space around us...hmmm maybe 3-4 feet. Thats OUR space! Some people choose to cross that line and intrude on our personal space. We react accordingly to the person or the vibe we get from them.
Some people come into our space (or I like to call it my bubble) and we become defensive. We take a step back, cross our arms, move our chair away, lean away or get up and walk away. Some people don't see these body language signs, or choose to ignore them.
Other people who we are comfortable with will step across that invisible line into our space and we don't mind. They are welcome there and our body language will display this. Our body language might include, open arms (not crossed), smiling, leaning toward the person, touching, eye contact, and being attentive.
Having discussed body language in the blogs before, some people do not believe in it. We all have our opinions and are entitled to them.
Over the past few years body language has fascinated me. I watch people, observe all the little messages that they send off and don't even realize it.
I think if we became more aware of body language there would be less 'guessing' involved in what others are thinking. Especially regarding dating, and friendships. Just a thought.

Mood: curious, 729 Views |  | One thing I do not feel comfortable with is doing things on my own.
Going out by myself. Shopping is fine alone. Movies, dining, or other activities...well thats uncomfortable.
Do others feel like that too or are you comfortable going solo?
What are some suggested activities to participate in alone to get over that uncomfortable feeling? |
